POSTS STORIES REELS

At random moments, I am 12 year old Tabitha, unable to say my name because of my stutter, filled with insecurities about my skinniness and said stutter AND with so much passion and drive for changing the world with, at that time, very little places to land those desires. Truly honored to be in a position in life where being loud and advocating for justice and equity is just simply what I do on the everyday. Thank you @theknowwomen for this recognition. This one is for Trinidad & Tobago. by @tabithastb

#Newbookalert

I wrote the first chapter in the newly launched book #100DiverseVoicesOnParenthood from @akidsbookabout @akidsco. And of course, I wrote about how to raise an antiracist baby. I’m honored to be sharing Adam’s and my practices with more and more parents.

Bringing these back because my values remain the same this Election Day. I voted for myself as a Black immigrant woman. And I voted for my kids, for their future AND their present.

Meta is suppressing political content on IG but they can’t on Threads as effectively.

Pls pay attn to those who have won against fascists. They’re teaching us Americans valuable lessons. We can do this.

Still one of my proudest moments. Writing is one of my first loves. Getting to pay tribute to this brilliant piece of work was a deep honor of mine. by @tabithastb

October was kind to me

Thrift on thrift on thrift

Every moment is a moment for a fancy milkshake

Flamenco

I was not dressed appropriately for flamenco. My little dolly was.

I got influenced by @rach_carmona

Trick or treating meant popcorn with strawberry powder, slices of ham and bread.

A little bit of whimsy for school pick up

Dirty mirror, sharp outfit

Nobody loves shredded garlic in olive oil with a sprinkle of salt on challah more than me. Now I can make it without getting a garlic smell on my fingers.

I took this vid for my kids.

Obsessed with cropped jackets, tops, everything, lately. by @tabithastb

Parents, do we have our own costumes ready and why is it our everyday outfit?

But for real, can we see the end of blackface? It’s racist. There’s been enough discourse as to why and we gotta teach our kids that their costume must not include someone else’s racial identity.

Yes my kids will disagree on if I’m a cool mom but that’s a convo for another day.
