today makes a year since the worst day of my life. going through this year without my sister has been the hardest thing i’ve ever had to do. it still feels so unreal to having to live life and go on as normal without her. having holidays and birthdays and events i know she should be with me for. all the memories that flood when i go to our favorite places or listen to our favorite songs. crying anytime i see muppets or labyrinth references. the emotional rollercoaster this has been is the hardest part. there’s been countless times i’ve wanted to call her and just rant or go get a polar pop like we used to. like we did the day before she left me. knowing that i have to keep living without her for the rest of my life is so so hard. but knowing she’s watching over me keeps me going. in my mind, she’s right next to me as i continue college and am becoming an adult. it’s just sad i don’t get to do this with my best friend anymore. i love you so much, jade. i hope i’m making you proud. everything i do is for you. i can’t wait to see you again 🖤 by @tabithaxraine
