A few months ago, I launched my app TableBud on the App Store and Google Play. In the next few weeks, I’ll be sharing some exciting updates! In the meantime, I want to tell you all more about how TableBud came to life.

TableBud started as an idea in 2014 and took shape in 2021 when I began sketching and refining a simpler way for friends to share the places they actually go. We spend so much time scrolling group chats, Notes app lists, and anonymous reviews, yet still struggle to find the right restaurant.

After landing on the vision of Google Maps meets Instagram, I decided in 2023 to go to business school and turn the idea into a real product. I built an initial MVP using AI and then found an incredible dev team abroad to bring it to life.

Since launching in October, TableBud has grown to 1k users and 3k+ reviews. Thank you to everyone who has supported, shared, and reviewed. More exciting things coming soon. TB 🚀 by @tablebud

Y'ALL look what I found✨

Table Bud is new app that connects you with friends and helps you discover all their favorite restaurant recommendations! We found The Dinghy, the perfect spot to kick off our girls’ night before dancing the night away at the Moon Taxi concert at The Windjammer. Highly recommend saving this for later🌙🚕

A few new favorite spots and even fuller camera rolls later, TableBud has officially made its Charleston debut! 📸

We rounded out our Lowcountry Labor Day Weekend with a launch party at @dinghyiop, complete with live music, drinks and plenty of TableBud merch to go around.

Finally got to try out this new CHS Italian spot, and I have to say I think we ordered PERFECTLY - so steal our recs for the next time you go!👇🏼

Cocktails:
- dirty martini
- pool negroni
- orange spritz
- banana daiquiri

Food:
- MUST get the tuna crudo
- caviar deviled eggs
- sicilian ceviche
- steak frites
- mafaldine alla vodka (!!!)

When the meal’s so good you whip out your phone and rate it on @tablebud before dessert even hits the table 🤩

@parkandgrovechs has been a longtime favorite, from back in the day when it was Park Cafe (iykyk)! Their current dinner menu is full of unreal dishes like the crab dip, ricotta gnocchi and braised short rib. And circling back to dessert, the sticky banana toffee pudding is worth the trip alone.

Somehow, the best bites taste even better when they're shared with a top-tier table. 🍽️

Our founder, @srdoss16, joined @amanda_pinckney and @kendallzenner at @oceanprimebh, where the Filet Mignon, Tuna Tartare and Dynamite Roll quite literally left no crumbs.
