One evening at a house party on West Broadway, a chance encounter between two bobbed brunettes sparked a creative partnership.

For our first S&A collection, we created cashmere sweaters. We began by sourcing vintage garments, buttons, and trims, which we then deconstructed, reimagined, and transformed into one-of-a-kind designs.

Together, we wanted to make garments that feel both wearable and intentionally uncommercial, pushing beyond the boundaries of traditional manufacturing through reverse seams, unfinished hems, mismatched buttons, and a tapestry of machine and hand-stitching. We meticulously paired precise embroidery with irregular stitches, and overlocked edges with pinking shears, creating a technical eclecticism usually constrained by the blueprint of a factory.

Each design exists as its own character, collectively belonging to a world shaped by humanity, nature, imperfection, craftsmanship, and the artist’s hand.
