Campus may look a little quieter in the summer but big things are always happening behind the scenes. This week, our new Dean of Academics Brianne Foley met with Tabor alum and Circle of Excellence awardee Mark Parsons ‘86 to tour and talk about a future connection between Tabor and his organization New Bedford Research and Robotics. NBBR is a non-profit laboratory with a mission to provide and streamline access to frontier technologies through education and skill creation, economic empowerment, and corporate engagement. Its New Bedford facility can be utilized for everything from industry research to providing educational programming and we can’t wait to see where this partnership takes us! @researchandrobotics #TaborAcademics by @taboracademy

Kaixo! This summer, students participating in the Tabor in Spain Global Education program had the opportunity to immerse themselves in the culture and natural beauty of Spain’s Basque Country. Through a week of homestays, classes, and cultural exchange @stpatricksss in San Sebastián, they experienced daily family life while engaging in activities such as kayaking river clean-ups, exploring ancient seaside cliffs, and testing their skills with traditional Basque sports. The program also included a 3-day, 70km guided trek along the Camino del Norte, traveling from San Sebastián to Bilbao. The stories and smiles were endless and effortless. We really couldn’t have asked for a more perfect June weekend to celebrate our 1s and 6s. Reunion 2026 welcomed more than 500 attendees back to campus to reconnect, reminisce, and make new memories. Thanks to all who joined us in person and in spirit! Every year, on July 1, we close the books on our fiscal year and reflect on all that we’ve accomplished together over the last 12 months. But this wasn’t just another year. Our sesquicentennial marked 150 years of forging a path that honored the past and looked towards the future. None of it would have been possible without the generosity of our community of donors. And she’s off! The Tabor Boy has officially begun the first leg of her 2026 voyage to Bermuda.
