There are two pieces in The End Is the Beginning that particularly stood out to me. “Ode: The Disease” was one of them. I liked the way it touches upon memories, remembrance and the feeling of experiencing something beyond ordinary reality. It is short, but it leaves you with something to think about.

The second piece I really enjoyed was “To Be.” I found its imagery beautiful, especially the contrast between the earth, the black hole, the sunset and the idea of accepting things that may not always be understood. There is a quiet, almost philosophical quality to this poem that I appreciated.

What I liked most about these two pieces was that they made me pause and read them again rather than simply moving on to the next page. They have a reflective quality, and I could interpret them in my own way, which made them memorable for me.

Poetry is deeply subjective, and different readers will connect with different pieces. While the overall collection wasn’t an easy read for me, these two poems were the ones I personally connected with and wanted to mention. I appreciate the author’s effort in putting together a collection that explores ideas of life, memory, existence and perception.

The End Is the Beginning :

As the title itself carries a feeling within it—“breaking the moment you let go.” An emotion that feels like emerging from the depths of the ocean while desperately trying to save your breath.
In the preface, the author writes:

“Some journeys are made in silence, others leave marks that stay forever. Mine has been a mix of both—the quiet and the breaking.”

These lines sink so deeply into the mind that they leave behind numerous different images of suffering.

The author further writes:

“Classics, when it comes to music, healed me. Words followed. I didn't plan to write—it just became the only place I could stay honest.”

So, if the author mentions the illness above, he also goes on to tell us about its cure—music and words. For him, writing is not merely a form of expression; it becomes a place where he can remain honest with himself.

The author then writes:

“These poems aren't stories. They are pieces of what I have felt, seen, lost, fought and came back from.”
These lines give you an idea of where these poems come from, what they mean to the author, and how much of his own life has gone into them.

Broadly, this poetry collection is divided into three parts:

A Journey Through Awakening
Collapse
And Homecoming

The collection contains 27 short, beautiful, and fluid poems. There were moments when I simply found myself stuck on a poem. I read some of them several times, marked them, and highlighted a few lines that stayed with me.

I’m sharing a few beautiful lines from the book above. Read them once, and perhaps they will make you want to pick up the book and read it yourself.

"We Are Al Trying Here" (2026) is a biting, realistic drama that peels back the glamour of the film industry to show the desperate insecurity underneath. Written by Park Hae-young, the story centers on Hwang Dong-man (Koo Kyo-hwan), a man who has spent two decades in the shadow of his own ambition. Despite his talent, he has never debuted as a director, working as a directing teacher and freelancer while watching his peers rise to stardom. This frustration reaches a boiling point when he collides with Byeon Eun-ah (Go Youn-jung), a ruthless producer nicknamed "The Axe." While the industry dismisses him as a failure and Dong-man has finally lost faith in his own talent, she recognizes a brilliance in him that no one else sees. By believing in his genius when he no longer can, she becomes a vital reason why he continues fighting for the debut he's spent twenty years chasing.

📖 The End Is the Beginning — Abhijeet Sharma
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
Some endings don't really feel like endings. Sometimes, they quietly become the beginning of something new. 🌙
The End Is the Beginning is a heartfelt collection of poems that explores love, heartbreak, emotions, healing, loneliness, and the little moments of self-reflection that stay with us. What I enjoyed about this collection is how it captures feelings that are often difficult to express in words. Some poems felt deeply relatable, while others made me pause and look at familiar emotions from a different perspective.
The book carries a gentle reminder that losing something, letting go, or reaching an ending can also be the first step towards finding yourself again. ✨ If you enjoy emotional and reflective poetry that touches on love, relationships, heartbreak and healing, this could be a beautiful addition to your reading list. 💙

“The End is the Beginning”

By Abhijeet Sharma

The End is the Beginning by Abhijeet Sharma is a collection of contemporary poetry that sits quietly with one of the most difficult parts of being human: letting go.

The book explores heartbreak, loss, unfinished conversations, memories, and the strange emptiness that follows when something—or someone—we once considered permanent is no longer part of our lives. But what makes the collection meaningful is that it doesn’t remain trapped in sadness. Slowly, almost gently, the poems begin to move toward acceptance, self-discovery, and the possibility of beginning again.

There is something familiar about the emotional world of these poems. The late-night thoughts, the words we wish we had said, the memories that return without invitation, and the difficulty of accepting that some chapters simply cannot be rewritten are experiences many of us will recognize. The poetry draws its strength from these ordinary but deeply personal moments.

rebuilding. But rather than presenting self-love as simply forgetting the past, the collection treats it as learning to value yourself even after disappointment. There is an important difference between moving on and pretending that something never mattered. The book seems to understand that healing can involve carrying the memory without allowing it to control the future.

What makes The End is the Beginning resonate is its understanding that healing isn’t linear. You can believe you have moved on and still miss someone. You can accept an ending and still wish it had turned out differently. You can be grateful for what once existed and still choose not to return to it. These contradictions are part of real emotional life, and the collection leaves room for them.

Overall,
The End is the Beginning may not tell every reader exactly how to heal—and perhaps that isn’t its purpose. Instead, it offers something quieter: the reassurance that feeling lost after an ending doesn’t mean you will remain lost forever.

Sometimes, the beginning doesn’t arrive dramatically. by @tacityes

Some books tell you a story; others make you inhabit a journey. The End is the Beginning by @tacityes does both in its own quiet way—taking the reader from awakening and emotional collapse through fracture and uncertainty, and finally towards the possibility of homecoming.

Sharma’s collection of 27 poems does not read like a modern-day poetry book but more like an intimate record of an inner life in motion. Divided into four sections—Awakening, Conflict/Collapse, Flesh and Fracture, and Ascension/Homecoming—the collection traces a movement through love, memory, loneliness, grief, identity, loss, and, eventually, acceptance.

The thought behind this collection is raw and vulnerable.

The poems are deliberately unguarded, often resembling fragments of thought captured in moments of solitude rather than meticulously constructed literary pieces. There is an appealing simplicity to Sharma’s language; he rarely obscures emotion behind elaborate vocabulary or dense metaphor.

Instead, the writing allows feeling to remain at the centre.

At its strongest, this directness creates an almost conversational intimacy, making certain poems feel like private reflections the reader has been allowed to overhear.

The poems show a movement from awakening to collapse, fracture, and ultimately homecoming that gives them a larger emotional arc. The journey suggests that endings are not necessarily destinations, but thresholds through which transformation begins.

This lean collection occasionally inclines towards abstraction, and some poems feel more like emotional sketches than fully developed poetic compositions. Some people may not appreciate that vagueness.

Yet this spareness is central to the book’s literary character.

The End is the Beginning chooses emotional honesty over ornament and reflection over resolution. Its greatest achievement lies not in offering answers, but in creating space for readers to sit with difficult feelings and perhaps recognise something of their own journey in the process. taken in Delhi, India by @tacityes

This poetry book feels less like a poetry collection and more like a quiet conversation with yourself.

I liked how honest it feels. The poems don't try too hard to be complicated or overly poetics. Instead, Abhijeet writes about loss, identity, love, loneliness, and healing in a way that feels personal and vulnerable. At times, it almost feels like reading someone's late night thoughts, the throughts that are messy, reflective, and completely unfiltered.

There are 27 poem, divided into 4 sections . Awakening, Conflict/Collapse, Flesh and Fracture, and Ascension/Homecoming. I really enjoyed this structure, it gives the collection a sense of movement. You begin with self realisation, move through confusion, heartbreak, and emotional collapse, and eventually arrive at a quieter kind of acceptance. It doesn't make healing seem easy or immediate, which makes the journey feel much more believable.

Another thing that stood out to me was the simplicity of the writing. Most of them are straightforward and intimate, which makes the emotions easier to connect with. A few poems are more abstract and took me a little longer to understand, but I think that's also part of what makes them interesting.

More than anything, the collection reminded me that endings aren't always just endings. Sometimes they are the beginning of understanding yourself differently.

The End Is the Beginning by Abhijit Sharma is one of those poetry collections that feels like a collection of emotions put into words. With 27 poems, it takes you through love, grief, memories, loneliness and eventually, a sense of acceptance.

I don’t usually read poetry, but what I really liked about this one was how raw and honest it felt. The poems don’t try too hard to sound poetic; instead, they feel like simple, honest thoughts that you can actually connect with.

My favourite poem from the collection was “No One Knows.” There was something about this poem that stayed with me. The way it moves through different characters, their pain, loneliness, confusion and the things they carry silently, felt strangely haunting and relatable. The repeated idea of “no one knows” makes you think about how much people can hide behind what we see on the surface.

It felt like watching someone fall apart, question things, search for meaning, and slowly find their way back to themselves.

Overall, The End Is the Beginning was a heartfelt and relatable read. If you enjoy poetry that feels raw, honest and close to the heart, this one is worth picking up. by @tacityes
