Sometimes you just gotta go outside and stare at the sky. It may not fix everything, but it sure does look nice.

Went to this event the other day. Didn’t really socialize a whole bunch, but the venue had a pretty cool rooftop. Real solid spot for some sun worshipping. Many thanks to the homie @new_planetx for helping me translate the vision.

Lately I’ve been suffering from a pretty consistent period of writers block. More so a creative block in general. I was doing so well with keeping myself busy and preoccupied with work or gigs, or even my own personal work that I was doing.
But lately, I just haven’t had it in me. It’s a frustrating thing to deal with, especially when I was kinda on a roll with my creativity.
I need to remember that it’s okay though. You can’t really force inspiration. It just kinda happens. And I need to learn to be okay with the things I can’t control like that. To be okay with being in a moment of nothingness. Because it is okay. The inspiration and drive will come back. I just need to be patient.

The month of August was a lot. Not a lot in a bad way, not at all. But a lot. Getting back to real life has been way more busy than I was expecting. I’m all for that though. Life is a constant rollercoaster, and even though not every moment of this month has been great, everything is starting to fall into place. At least, it feels like it is.

At the beginning of the year I sold my PlayStation so I could finally “lock in.” And I did. I’ve done some great work this year, and I’m very proud of it, and excited to continue it.
I just wish I woulda held on to it a little longer. Don’t get me wrong, making movies and videos is super fun and great and everything, but man… I miss my PlayStation.

Haven’t stepped on a board in so long,(I’m sure yall can tell) but it felt good to ride around again. I’ve spent a lot of time this month rediscovering the things that bring me joy.
Getting out and just feeling the breeze and the sun in any way I can has been one of the best things I’ve been doing for myself. No matter how unbearably hot it may be.
I’m going back to LA this weekend, and even though I wish I could stay here longer, I know that there’s so much waiting for me back home. I’m just so grateful to have been able to spend the time here and rediscover so many things about myself I had forgotten.
I’m excited to continue doing the things that make me happy back there as well. Stay tuned…

Boredom really gets you thinking. And dancing apparently. But also thinking. Thinking about how twelve years ago I walked into a theatre and saw a movie that changed my life. It wasn’t the greatest movie ever(to me it’s pretty damn close), but it inspired me and made me feel less alone at a time when that was all I felt.
Now, I’ve found my place, and my people, and I’m starting to really figure out my path in this world. So this is just a little tribute to that movie, from a short I’m working on, and how it continues to bring me a lot of happiness and hope. And hopefully it might give you guys a little laugh.

Back to our regularly scheduled programming. Spent a day on the mountain with the old man. Nothing to do but listen to the wind… and some ducks. Probably my favorite place in Tucson.
