Jedi Master “Nacsu” 104th Battalion “Scar” Squadron Master “Nacsu” was Scar squadron’s leader on Jabiim. Known for being a fierce warrior he adopted Form IV “Ataru” for his saber wielding. Nimble and quick, Nacsu was a skilled fighter who led his men with aggressiveness. His effective defensive skills and battle IQ prevented many deaths among his squad. Preferring a dual edged saber, Nacsu stood out as a solemn and insightful leader who always appreciated the advice and tactical knowledge of his men. ————————— Very happy with how Nacsu turned out. This is my first Jedi I’ve done and I already can’t wait to do more of them. Armored Jedi have always been my favorite look, especially seeing OG Kenobi in the 2003 Clone Wars mini series. The helmet was a big pain to paint but probably my favorite part about this figure. Multiple redesigns and very shaky hands made for this bucket but I’m proud of how it looks. Really wanted a wolf inspired look and think it turned out alright. ————————— As always a big thanks to my boy at @acezzmods for the armor. As well my good friend from work who graciously supplied me with some parts and paint supplies to help with such fine details. Brett, I love you bro. ~ 179th Combat Medic Stormtrooper ~ Customs Wave 2, Figure 2 Usually I write some lore for these guys but I want to instead shout out some amazing accounts that made this custom possible. First I want to thank the orignal creator of this unique and amazing stormtrooper design, @edouard_groult_arts . I had seen this design a while back online and just rediscovered it several months ago. I was so happy to have have found the orignal creator on here and to see that his art has continued to be amazing and real. This is my favorite stormtrooper design by far. Please give him a follow and check out his amazing art. I also want to thank my boy Tommy with @acezzmods for the stormtrooper kit. By FAR, my favorite helmet I’ve painted and I personally believe is perfectly scaled for a Lego mini figure with great detail. If you’re interested in making your own customs or enjoy custom built minifigs, check his page and website out and give him a follow. I highly recommend buying from him! Another thanks goes out to @kyuthatsme and his great advice on painting and tweaking my figure. He does amazing work, is very creative and has been very helpful to me. Some quick shots for the weekend, all. Just waiting on parts for the next custom but in the meantime I made a quick upgrade to 501st special forces “Nitro” here. Started experimenting with small magnets on the figure and weapon for a non-permanent attachment better for posing and easier for display. Used a craft hand drill to make a hole in the vest from @the_clone_barracks and another in the MP-7 from @bricktactical and glued in some small magnets. Will be utilizing this method for the upcoming 187th medical stormtrooper for some detachable accessories. Hope you all are having a great weekend and enjoying your time. RC-7443 “Katarn” was a well-seasoned veteran of battle. A stoic, quiet hunter who excelled in hand to hand combat, He would become one of the Republic’s best commandos. Originally part of a squad of four commandos, He would become the sole surviving member after a Jedi led mission went sideways. Believing the Jedi to be at fault for his brother’s deaths, 7743 would develop a hatred for the “space wizards,” he considered arrogant and pretentious. While 7743’s armor was already Katarn plated and blaster resistant, He would further upgrade his kit to give him tactical advantages against harder opponents-including the Jedi. Lacing much of his armor and helmet with the rare metal Cortosis, capable of shorting out lightsaber blades for a time, he would also become invulnerable to Jedi mind tricks and telepathy. During the last weeks of the war, 7743 would join the 41st and 501st’s presence on Kashyyk to help the Wookiees. Hand-picked by Commander Gree for his skills, 7743 would report directly to Gree and work closely with the native Wookiees. Like Gree, He shared an appreciation and fascination with all different xenos and alien species, studying them closely and quietly. 7743 would be given his nickname by the Wookies for his participance in the ritualistic hunting of the Katarn predator in the Shadowlands of Kashyyk. An older clone by this time, he would still easily survive the lowest levels of Kashyyk’s brutal forest floor, hunting many predators typically with only his knife or hands. Gaining the respect of the Wookies, He would come to appreciate their culture and way of life. During Order 66, Katarn would attempt to assassinate Quinlan Vos on Kashyyk but fail. Devoting his skillset to the newly founded Empire, He would spend the rest of his life hunting the Jedi whelps and seek revenge for Gree’s demise. CT-0049 Corporal “Whiskey” Whiskey was a medic in the 104th Battalion for Fang squadron. He started as a grunt under Commander Wolfee in the 104th where he was wounded by Asaaj Ventress during the battle of Khorm, losing his right arm. Whiskey was inspired by the medics who quickly rushed to his aid, spurring him to become a medic himself. Receiving a cybernetic arm as a replacement, Whiskey would get it modified to hold many small, essential medical tools for quick access on the battlefield. His tinted red visor allowed better vision in harsh conditions enabling him to work on soldiers in any circumstance; and was equipped with an enhanced medical HUD that could display soldier’s physical conditions. Exceptionally calm amidst the heat of battle, Whiskey would become the guardian angel of the team, assisting the squad selflessly and with the best medical care. The harshness of Jabiim was felt by every member of Fang squadron but men like Whiskey kept the team focused and level headed. Even after losing an additional finger on his cybernetic arm, Whiskey adapted and overcame obstacles. CT-0049 would continue to be a combat medic in the Empire after the fall of the Republic and still show the same care for his soldiers as he did during the Clone Wars. ————————— A huge thank you to @the.galaxy.art for kindly allowing me to use his BARC trooper art as an inspiration for this guy’s helmet design. Arc -4487 - Arc Trooper “Ridge” 501st Legion Happy May 4th, everyone. Here’s my custom arc trooper I made over time using various parts. Happy Friday everybody! Quick shots of this old custom I made some time ago for the weekend while I continue to work on the custom 104th pack. Had some fun with the dual molded helmets. Great for weathering with all the crevices and surfaces so I made three different ones. I also have some very exciting news! I was granted the opportunity to collab with @trooper.labs to showcase one of their new upcoming drop figs. I’ll be trying some ideas for some good pictures including painted and engraved pucks, some scenes as well possibly. If you haven’t seen their products they are amazing. CT-3990 - Trooper “Jax” 44 BBY 104th “Fang Squadron” Journal Entry The mud spatters away as my boots plunge into the thick abyss of wet ash. Seeming to claw at my feet, it takes more effort to lift my foot than to step forward. *Slop *Slop *Slop “Disgusting.” Whatever solidness this forsaken rock used to have has been squandered by the constant pelting of the rain. Weeks have passed since its let up. Trudging along in a formation once uniform, we move silently and soulless. The filters in my helmet whirr in a constant hum to keep the ashen soot out of my lungs but I can still taste the acid. The light glow of Jabiim’s horizon is all that drives us forward. The hope of combat. The hope that beyond this fog and sharp rock there’s a mission to be executed. Like skilled hunters with no prey, or a marksman with no rifle, my squads talents are wasted by the endless abyss of foot patrol. The air is thick and moist, the ground dense and muddy, the morale low. Making plastoid feel like durasteel and boots like stones. I push forward to a horizon unseen and a goal unknown. Hope lingers in my head for anything but this dreaded death journey but is eroded more and more each day. “Blast this wretched planet.” *Slop *Slop *Slop “Blast this wretched planet.” ———————————— By far the longest I’ve taken on a custom. The jetpack was especially a challenge. However, I’m very happy with how everything came out. The pauldron with the holster and jetpack attached is my favorite part. Combining those was a new idea and I will definitely do more like it in the future. Big thanks to my boy Tommy with @acezzmods for the holster. Ties it all together!
