I’ve been thinking for days if I should even post this carousel,
because honestly… I’m fucking cringing at myself.

For years people told me,
“Bro, share your story, talk about what you learned, it will help others.”
But I never wanted to be that guy.
The coach. The guru. The “mindset” dude telling you how to live.

I’m none of that.

I’m just someone who almost ended up dead or in jail,
ran away to Australia, touched a surfboard,
and somehow turned that chaos into one of the most successful surf camps in the world.

11 years in this industry.
3 summers basically sold out.
A community of people that makes all the struggle worth it.
And a business that went from nothing to over seven figures in lifetime revenue.
All built from scratch, with mistakes that could fill a fucking library.

So I’m finally doing it.

Not to preach.
Not to sell shit.
Not to pretend I have everything figured out.

But because I know how it feels to start with nothing,
to have no blueprint, no mentors, no idea what the fuck you’re doing.

And maybe some of the lessons I learned the hard way
will save someone else a few years of suffering.

I’ll talk about surfing, business, leadership, building community,
and all the things I wish someone told me when I was younger and lost.

Today I cried…

But not because anything’s wrong. I was just thinking about my dad, and thinking that he only got to know the version of me that always brought problems.

The version of his son that always smelled like weed and alcohol. The version of his son that always had problems with the police. The version of his son that would skip school. The version of his son that would be out there stealing and fighting every single weekend.

But he never got to see that his son runs his own company. The son that has 25 team members. Second location. Made a hundred grand in sales in one week. The son that created a safe space for thousands of people. The son that is doing well for himself…

I was never a religious guy but lately I pray that heaven exists so he knows his son didn’t end up a failure…
