Very old self portrait about the artist that inspire me that I finally got finished up. This piece references work from the old masters of Annibale Carracci, surrealist painter Claudio Bravo, and contemporary artists Delfin Finley. (48” x 36”, oil on canvas)

“Blue lives aren’t real”
“24x 30” oil on canvas
This piece was my take on an old assignment that challenged us to take a political topic and make it yours . I chose to make a piece about blue lives matter and how it is a protest to a protest. In this piece I included scenes from the Freddie gray riots in Baltimore 2015 and The Rodney King riots in Los Angeles 1992. These riots Show that Black people have been protesting for their human and civil rights for decades while , police have taken this opportunity to create a war on “blue lives” that simply does not exist to deflect from their wrongs and ignore the pain and trauma forced upon black communities. #art #fineart #oilpainting #painting #fineblackart #blackhistorymonth #blackart #blackartist #blacklivesmatter #supprtblackart #bluelivesmatter #baltimore #freddiegray #rodneyking #gwccatvisual by @tae.casso

Here’s a look at my top 20 wall for giordano jr. portfolio awards. Thanks to everybody who checked out my wall and to all those who complimented my work. This was an eye opener and overall good experience for me seeing the work of all my peers work. Likeness portrait bust. Don’t mind the difference in the clay color, but swipe to see the end and go backwards to see the progress. -

Work from last year I never posted. This is a 22 x 30 drawing done inside my group’s sculpture installation , and then pictures 3-6 are pictures of the actual installation. #sketch #finearts #art #drawing #charcoaldrawing #mixedmedia #mixedmediaart #chalkpastel #charcoal #sculpture #installation #installationart #wormseye #wormseyesview by @tae.casso
