It’s okay to be vulnerable. It’s okay to cry. It’s okay to be angry, hurt, or overwhelmed.

That’s exactly why we all need an outlet. We all need people who pour into us, encourage us, and remind us that we’re not alone.

Too often, we isolate ourselves and forget about the people who genuinely care. We bottle up our emotions until they become too heavy to carry. Don’t go another day, another month, or another year suffering in silence.

When we isolate ourselves, we end up battling our thoughts alone. That’s why it’s so important to reach out, speak up, and allow others to walk with us through difficult seasons.

As a people, we’ve become so accustomed to tearing each other down that we’ve forgotten how powerful it is to simply love one another. Imagine what our communities, and our families could look like if we chose compassion over criticism, grace over judgment, and love over hate.

You matter.
Your voice matters.
Your story matters.
Your mental health matters. ❤️🙏🏾

Last night, I had the opportunity to speak life not just into students, but into parents as well. ❤️

We talked about mental health, healing, and the importance of simply being there for one another. Before anyone left the building, I made it my mission to hug, dap up, and speak to every person I could. Sometimes healing doesn’t begin with a solution, it begins with a hug, a smile, a conversation, or someone simply reminding you that you’re not alone.

It was an emotional night, and I’m grateful for every student, parent, volunteer, and supporter who showed up. The room was filled with hope and love.

One thing I told everyone last night was
“We’re not taking notes, we’re taking steps. We’re taking action.”

So let me remind you of this today

YOU matter.
You matter to your family.
You matter to your friends.
You matter to your community.
And most importantly, you matter to God.

Your mental health matters. Don’t suffer in silence. Keep showing up. Keep talking. Keep believing. There is hope. ❤️🙏🏾

Thank you to everyone who made this night unforgettable. This is only the beginning.

Five years ago, I lost one of my closest friends to cancer.

I still remember the day he came to my church. I was so excited to see my dawg. We were talking, catching up, and then he shared that he had cancer. I couldn’t believe it. Because he didn’t look like he had any problems. I kept praying and holding on to hope. As time went on, he kept fighting through, and every time I saw him I was encouraged. Then one day I seen him slim down and he had told me it was getting worse.

Before he passed, he gave his life to Christ while he was in the hospital after graduating. He told me he was going to graduate and he did. But the greatest decision he ever made wasn’t earning his diploma, it was giving his life to Jesus.

I’m sharing this because tomorrow isn’t promised.

If there’s someone you need to forgive, forgive them.
If there’s someone you need to let go of, let go.
If there’s someone you need to love, hug, or simply tell them you care, do it today !!!!!

Don’t wait because you think you have more time. Time doesn’t wait for any of us.

I really enjoy speaking to athletes because sometimes they forget why they play the sport in the first place. We see so many athletes fail, quit, and not finish because they lost sight of their vision and lost sight of their why. Keep your WHY right in front of you, doesn’t matter what game it is, doesn’t matter if it’s practice, doesn’t matter what or who’s in front of me I’m giving 110% EVERY time God gives me the opportunity to play! And since he gave you the opportunity to play this sport don’t take it for granted! Let’s be great taken in Richmond, Virginia by @taeclementsofficial

You’ll succeed in life once you understand that life requires community. 🤝🏾

If you want to be GREAT, you need a team. Whether it’s sports, an organization, a business, a franchise, ministry, or whatever you’re building, you can’t do everything alone.

Because 2 is always better than 1. 💯

But having a team isn’t just about having people around you. It’s about having the RIGHT people who understand their roles, value one another, communicate, and work toward the same goal. Everybody doesn’t have to do the same thing. Everybody just has to do their part. 🫱🏾‍🫲🏽

The reason I care so much about impacting people is because someone once saw something in me that I couldn’t see in myself.

I’ve been the kid who felt like giving up. I’ve questioned my purpose, doubted myself, and felt like my mistakes defined me, but someone believed in me anyway.

So now I want to be that person for somebody else.
I don’t want to just impress people. I want to love people, spread hope, and remind somebody that their story isn’t over.

Because sometimes all it takes is one person seeing you to help you start seeing yourself differently. ❤️🙏🏾

I know sometimes you look at your life and wonder, “Is there really more for me?”

YES. There is. ❤️
Your mistakes don’t disqualify you. Your past doesn’t define you. And where you are right now isn’t where you have to stay. See yourself winning. See yourself healed. See yourself becoming who God created you to be.
