Deadlift: 310kg +7.5kg🥈

What an EXPERIENCE. Squats had been cooking this whole prep, but I genuinely didn’t expect to walk away with squat gold. Especially since I almost bombed out on squats at my first Commonwealths in 2024🤣 but we learn from each experience 9/9 white lights this time. We opened 2.5kg under comp pb from march and added 20kgs to it.

Bench and deadlifts not going to lie, TESTED ME😭
I was cramping through basically the entire session, to the point spot loaders had to help pry my hands off the bar after my 2nd bench 🤣Then hit a PB with no wrist wraps off James’s suggestion.

Super stocked with my performance regardless because honestly I don’t think this is my top end👀 Massive thank you to my coach @johnstrachan_pl 6 months of prep that put me in the best possible position to do what we needed to do, nominations projected me for 5th place so I’m happy we were able to climb the rankings, our goal was to have fun and we did just that, hasn’t even been a year together yet and we’ve added +50kg to the total.

Huge thank you to James from @atlaspowerlifting for being my game day coach and putting up with me cramping my way through an entire competition your calls saved me out there🙏🏿😭

And to everyone who’s been supporting me through this whole journey the messages, the check-ins, all of it THANK YOU. This will be one to remember❤️
