What a wonderful morning celebrating 20 years of CLife!❤️✝️

Today was filled with memories — reflecting on two decades of God’s faithfulness and the incredible impact CLife has had on our family. It’s hard to believe that over 20 years ago, My husband Jason gathered with other men and pastors in a living room to pray about the beginning of CLife Church. Soon after came CLife at Claybon Elementary!

My mother-in-law, Pam, served as the preschool minister. I was pregnant with Cason at the time — and actually went into labor at church! Just months later, he was dedicated in the elementary school cafeteria where we held services.

Then came the skating rink — where our family had one last skate before renovations — and the special moment of writing scriptures on the beams before the new building. I had the blessing of painting for the very first services in the new CLife Forney location.

God continued to grow CLife, leading to the satellite campus in Sunnyvale — meeting in a movie theater. From those theater days to retreats and camps for our kids… from our children’s baptisms to hosting CG groups in our home… from mission trips to Guatemala to countless friends in Christ praying 🙏alongside us for our son… and now — WOW.

Today was bittersweet, as my mother-in-law Pam wasn’t able to be with us due to her health. But I was reminded of God’s faithfulness and provision when we saw her sister Susie and her husband Dave. What a sweet moment to share together. They weren’t there at the beginning — but they’re part of the story NOW. Investing in the lives of others and serving. Thankful for the many years my mother in law invested in the lives of children. Thankful for the season God used her in his story.

It’s all part of His story… His plan… God’s story.

Never underestimate God’s provision. For 20 years, He has faithfully sustained CLife — impacting countless lives, meeting people right where they are, and using each season for His glory. Thankful for the pastors and their willingness to say YES to God throughout all these years to use them in God's plan.

They day came... moving our youngest to college, Baylor University💚💛🐻! While there's Joy & sadness at the same time, it's never easy to see our children grow up and leave the nest! So, I'm choosing to believe he’s just @ his home away from home😊! We couldn't be more thrilled to see Cason embark on this exciting new chapter! It's only natural to feel a little sad😭, but trying to focus on the incredible opportunities that lie ahead for him. Lucy was an absolute rockstar, lending a helping hand as we settled Cason into his new home away from home - we're so grateful for her support! And as we count down the days until she heads off to UT on Saturday, we're reminded that even though they'll be apart, they'll both be spreading their wings and soaring to new heights. Beginning of new amazing friendships, growth, and experiences that this new year will bring - we just know it's going to be an unforgettable journey!
