I am so excited to be a part of the World of Threads Festival 2026-27!!!
My Tea Dress will be a part of the Catwalk, amongst over 150 wonderful pieces of textile art! The opening reception at the Queen Elizabeth Park Community & Cultural Centre is this Saturday, Sept. 26, 1-3pm by @tagcreates

I put my insomnia on display,
perhaps so that the sleeplessness we share could be seen, even a little.

And as much as I could, I spoke about Iran.
About a homeland whose weight, in one way or another, is carried by every survivor.

My deepest thanks to everyone who joined me over these past few days.

Thank you to Monica and Tracy for hosting and making this exhibition possible.
Thank you to Negin Moghaddar Doust and Sohrab Moradi Haghighi for walking this journey with me.
Thank you to Amirhossein for his care and precision in the color correction of the photographs.
Thank you to Kian, Mohsen, Siavash, Hesam, Negar, and all the friends who stood by me with their presence, encouragement, and support throughout the making of this body of work.
And thank you to everyone who, from the very beginning of this project until today, has supported me in ways both seen and unseen.

Today, 12 PM to 9 PM, is the final day of INSOMNIA.
