Thirty & Flirty & Thriving! ✨

To love and be loved at this capacity is the greatest gift. I’m not usually big on celebrating my birthday I only started celebrating five years ago, but every year I am in awe of how many friends show up for me. Most of these friendships are a decade in or nearing it. I am so blessed, so appreciative, and I love my community so deeply.

Thank God for bringing me safely out of my twenties, for the woman I’ve become, and the woman I continue to grow into. So excited for everything my 30s have to offer

To God, Family, Love, Friendships, Community, and continued Reciprocity 💋

What an honor to be a part of something so intentionally crafted. What an honor to pour into my loved ones while they are here to receive it. What an honor it is to be loved and let love continue to carry me.

i was baptized in an art gallery last saturday.

thank you to everyone who came, wanted to but couldn’t, and extended congratulations or well-wishes. felt like my birthday came early! my first exhibition ever, my first group exhibition, way too many firsts. crazy. thank you, thank you, thank you.

About the exhibit:
The Water Carries Us is a multidisciplinary art installation exploring water as a metaphor for memory, migration, rebirth, healing, and connection. Water becomes the visual and spiritual thread linking ancestral heritage, the transatlantic slave trade, ritual cleansing, baptism, music, and Black futurism.
