International dance day ✨
My favorite day of the year dedicated to my favorite thing on earth. This year feels a little different knowing I won’t be on any type of team and l’ll be starting graduate school. From dance competitions at 5 years old to a dream of dancing in college to 2 years as a WNBA dancer, dance has always been my whole world and I’m taking a step back for the first time in my life. Not a goodbye but a see you later :)
Just wanted to post some of my favorite moments and some that I didn’t think were good enough to post but now wish I did… anyways, I love you dance and I’ll be back so soon. In the meantime, Grace Glass DPT here I come! 📚🩼

A moment I’ll never forget ✨ @00ki__ and I were given the opportunity to choreograph a timeout this past season as captains of the @lvaces Wild Card Crew. In just a couple hours, we choreographed and set this routine to perform. Proud is an understatement in these pinch me moments. Today, February 1st marks the 3 year anniversary of officially getting my hEDS diagnosis. While it’s something I’ve had my entire life, I didn’t begin to have major issues with it until my senior year of high school. Now because of fighting to get the official word, I am able to get some of the best care in the country managing it. It can take a lot physically, mentally, and absolutely emotionally, but having a village to help me manage it has been a game changer. I finally feel that I’m in control (to the most I can be). I love getting to share my story. I love helping fellow dancers who message me or those in the Facebook groups. We are all in this together and I couldn’t be more happy to help inspire fellow zebras. Even if they say we can’t do something, we will find a way. It may be hard, and take more effort to do so but our determination and resiliency is some of our best traits. To all my fellow spoonies. See the light in the darkest of moments. I always hope your spoons are filled with sugar.
