The artist, Jumana, found herself struggling to come up with a fitting title while working on the pixel artwork. She thought, “Let me finish it first, and maybe the right words will come.” Now that it’s complete, Jumana is still at a loss for words. It seems to be a reflection of the harsh reality where words often fail to convey the depth of her feelings. Perhaps the right words aren’t needed anymore. Perhaps they can be found in the Palestinian children’s eyes, where innocence and resilience meet the harsh reality of their world. Perhaps in the strength of the Palestinian people, where their determination to rebuild, to heal, and to hope speaks louder than any words ever could 🇵🇸🇵🇸

“My name is Jumana, I am a 22 year old self-taught digital artist. What inspires me is honestly, anything and everything, whether it's a person, music, poetry, a movie, a photograph, or a story. However, lately, my emotions are the main sources of my inspiration, so you could say I'm journaling my thoughts and emotions without the need to use words. It is a journey. I'm still trying to explore, learn, and practice every day.”-Jumana (@0ddlines)
