This year has been one of so much learning for me. Learning from and with Randy what it means to be a parent to my two babies Zada and Inani.
I am forever grateful for their sweetness and for making me a parent before I even knew Asé would make me a biological mother.
I am overjoyed to give them a little sister, and I’m so grateful to be their “Ima”.

Pack dynamics are not just about putting a bunch of canines together and praying for the best.

It is also NOT going to the dog park where it is a free for all on behavior and expectations!

It is about establishing a set of;
rules
boundaries
& limitations
☀️👌✨
I have my main pack that is ALWAYS working on these rules, boundaries and limitations so that when we introduce other doggos, the behaviors will be demonstrated.

Once they start teaching each other through “healthy” interaction my job is to reinforce and keep the peace, just in case there are any “misunderstandings “

This is mentally exhausting yet stimulating in a positive way!

This is GUS!! 😍 We rescued him from MX on Friday. He’s been living on the streets for at least a year... He’s 3, the most handsome lowrider mix, very healthy (except for the tips of his ears, which need some ointment for the hair to grow back) His tail is ALWAYS wagging! We are obsessed with his mellow demeanor and super affectionate personality. He’s got the sweetest soul and a proud strut! Our trainer @0gdf7 of @canineconscious dog training is fostering him and says he gets along great with all of his dogs & loves to play with kids!
