I’m turning 40 at the end of the month and am throwing an epic FREE daytime showcase @wondervillenyc in Brooklyn. Everyone is invited to come enjoy the music and entertainment! From 02:00p-07:00p in the venue space where we will have (not particularly in this order): >> Couples Therapy (Cryptic One’s live band), Drug Purs3 (nicky_luna, Osa, & Scotty’s group), A.R. IMMORTAL (who is also hosting), Merit, Justin Buschard (Sharkswimmer, solo set), Senerio, Specialhead, Sayword Staz?!, King John Ill, Tim Patrick, Isaac Strycker, Aaron Black, & MIKE BROWN

A trip down memory lane as Wood turns 4 on Monday December 15th. As a fully self funded (loans) owned and operated business it wasn’t easy and still isn’t. But gosh dang was it worth it!

1. The first time I ever looked at the space in December of 2019.
2&3. Getting the keys after signing the lease in August 2020.
4&5. The mock up + start of the front mural by @anniehonglikes August 2021?
6-8 Construction begins (late 2020/ early 2021)
9-10 - completion of the mural!! August/ September 2021
11-13 - construction slowly wraps up September/ October 2021!
14 - conducting my first round of interviews - @beeisforbear is still here with us today! :’)
15 - our first lil blurb write up
16-18 - figuring out when the city will let us open/ spiraling/ celebrating that we got the okay to open! October- December 2021
19-20 - December 15th, 2021! Woods very first day of operations!

Holy hell this Record Store Day nearly killed me. Insane amount of work to get the new @roughtradenyc Below space open, and then before I could catch my breath it was RSD. Very proud of the RT Team for pulling this all off, including an assist from @karinelgai who was a customer service superstar along with being a @counterserviceband superstar.

Went to the @eccopn #dolbyatmos listening party at the @dolbytheatre . Absolutely amazing or how I phrased it to them “that was pretty good”. Respect 🫡 , nice meeting them. Epic experience thanks to @0k0sa , who is my muse, for opportunity to be there.
