After all that’s happened in life over the past 6 months, I’m glad to have given it another try with the best doubles partner! We might be down, but we surely aren’t out. Back to the moon! 🚀 🌙

beach sprint national championships!

honestly, the result feels secondary. what stays with me is the beautiful journey on + off the water.

My first full beach sprint was only in June. A few weeks later, making it to the C final in the women’s open, 6th in the nation, tells me exactly where I’m meant to be.

One of my favorite parts of this side of the sport: no matter your tenure in flatwater, we’re all novices again, learning together.

Borikén lives in me wherever I row. Its struggles, its beauty, all of it. I don’t have to be there for it to be with me, and representing it is a promise I keep from any shore.

Grateful to have raced on my birthday, and so much more to share on those extraordinary moments soon. For now: setting my sights high and enjoying the bumpy, wavy ride there.

Super quad!! I am so incredibly grateful for the opportunity to race in a mixed quad at trials! Coxing coastal boats is so much fun. It requires the ability to balance speed, precision, and authority with flexibility, humbleness and tons of laughter. We rowed fast and had so much fun. One could say we even cooked 🦝🧑‍🍳🔥

We left it all on the beach.

This team is full of love.

And there was no shortage of epic performances on display in New Bedford last week, where we came together for Beach Sprint National Championships, Speed Order, and Trials to make the 2026 U.S. National Team.

@markusoria thank you as always for your leadership, heart, and true partnership. Somehow, you create this remarkable space of intensity, high standards, and pure fun.

@alycehoney thank you for your friendship and partnership in committing to the true test of endurance that is boat handling.

Annabelle and John did an amazing job this weekend racing @usrowing beach sprint trials! Both raced (separately) in the inclusion mixed double, and Annabelle came away with the W in the end! Way to go and great to see so much Spid on the beach! #coastal #beachsprints
