The American flag kept flying. The car took a different approach. 🇺🇸😳

Thankfully, the crew was OK. 🙏

I still remember the first time I saw Matt's E36 back in 2024, I was the furthest I had ever been from home, at 100 Acre Wood, and his car really caught my eye. Particularly, the deep fender cuts, which showcased where the magic happens on any rally car: the suspension travel. Having seen a few drift BMW's of this era before, it captivated me to see such a stark contrast of capability within the same chassis. If you know anything about me, you know I love 6 cylinder engines most of all, be they inline or V, as long as they rev, so this was a favorite of mine immediately.

Recently, at @rallycolorado, @mattnykanenrally and @william_ross__ had an unfortunate off, and though they were thankfully mostly unharmed, the chassis was a total write off.

Photos are from the first time I saw it, @100awrally in 2024, and the video is from one of the last times that I saw it, at @southernohioforestrally in 2026 (cellphone video captured as I left to get to the next stage lol)

Thanks for the memories, I can't wait to see what you drive next, Matt!

Well 1 year making videos and 6 months of going to events as “Sloppy” Hell of a ride so far, can’t wait to see how far we can go! Big thanks to @dropagearindustries @rally.kj @rallyready and @revo.race for getting me out to events and letting me have some fun. So far this year we made it to Sno Drift, Rally Ranch Classic, 100 Acre Woods and SOFR. Make it happen 🙌🍻

Had a cool little WRX wagon come in the other day. This little guy has been an absolute work horse for the @100awrally group for neigh on 2 decades now with 100Aw chair person Kim DeMotte at the wheel.

#rally is a really complicated sport that takes 100s of volunteers, months of planning, and hours of driving by all of the people involved to make it happen and this car is probably one of the longest running 0/00/000 cars around.
