Right after sugar, ATTENTION might be one of the most addictive things in the world.

We got kids risking their freedom, their futures, and even their LIVES just to feel accepted. Chasing validation from people who won’t be there when the consequences come knocking.

And before we point the finger at the younger generation, LOOK AT THE ADULTS.

Social media has grown people doing absolutely ANYTHING for likes, views, and validation from strangers they’ll probably never meet.

We’ve created a culture where being SEEN matters more than being VALUED.

But here’s the real question: How do we reverse it? How do we teach our children that their worth isn’t determined by attention, popularity, or acceptance?

Me and my guy 100 Grand Man had a powerful conversation about this on MAN UP WITH DR. BALTIMORE.

I WANT TO HEAR FROM Y’ALL:

Are these kids chasing attention because they’re not getting enough of it at home, or has social media completely changed what they consider valuable?

Get @reshare_app • @dr.baltimore You can’t tell a man to stop surviving if you aren’t willing to give him another opportunity to survive.

For some people, crime isn’t about wanting to be a criminal. It’s about desperation, poverty, lack of opportunity, and trying to provide for their families.

When your child is hungry TODAY, the possibility of spending 30 years in prison doesn’t always outweigh the pressure of putting food on the table RIGHT NOW.

But here’s the reality: Prison doesn’t solve the problem you were trying to escape. It creates a whole new one.

We have to stop just telling our young men what NOT to do and start showing them what they CAN do. Real change requires real opportunities, resources, mentorship, and people willing to invest in them.

Here’s my question: Can we realistically expect people to make better decisions if we aren’t creating better opportunities?
