TWO WEEKS TO GO!!! “SOMETIMES LOVE HURTS” is nearly here!! ❤️ As an independent Aussie country artist, I’m running on caffeine, questionable financial decisions and a level of DELUSION that should be studied by scientists 🤠 PLEASE PRE-SAVE MY SONG! 🙏🏽 It costs NOTHING and might just convince the Spotify gods to pop me on a playlist! Streaming royalties won’t pay my mortgage unless I get 47 billion streams, but your pre-save could help make this crazy dream come true! LINK IN BIO! 🔗 Thank you from the bottom of my ♥️ WHO’S PRESAVED?! 🙋‍♀️#country #musicartist #sometimeslovehurts #independent #tanianichamin

What do I actually do? Sometimes people ask what I do when I’m not performing, naturally assuming it’s a weekend kinda thing. Besides the obvious tasks - practice, rehearsals, songwriting, booking gigs etc there are a range of hats I wear and an array of different skills needed that many people may not realise. I work everyday. The hours are scattered and during a period where I might be releasing music, prepping for a major festival or planning a tour or run of shows, I work a lot more. But even during quieter times like at the moment, I still work every day. So along with being a music artist most of us also work constantly on social media/content creation, admin - emails, pitching/applications, venue and festival research, invoicing/quoting, marketing/promotion, graphic design (done myself NOT AI), merch design and distribution, brand partnerships/ambassador work. The calendar is constantly open and I’m liaising with agents, venues, festival teams, session players, sound technicians etc on a regular basis. This career doesn’t have a clock off time, even when we’re away on holidays etc I’m usually still doing emails, socials, promo, creating but I genuinely enjoy it all, it’s not a burden to me. Every aspect of this career satisfies my brain and my need to plan and create. What makes it even more chaotic (in the best way), is that my almost-four year old daughter Faith is with me most days, so at times I’ll be interrupted or distracted but I’ve learnt to surrender and pivot and to get a lot done during nap time! We also live rurally and have livestock and pets to take care of, a seasonal garden, and I love to make our meals from scratch 🌾 Every aspect ebbs, flows and slots in to make one big, rich tapestry of passion and purpose 🤎
