@dfondo1 You are the epitome of what a real man looks like loving, kind, dependable, and unwavering in your dedication to our family. Every day, you create a foundation of humility, strength, and character for our boys to follow. The example you set through your leadership, faith, hard work, and integrity is truly inspiring. You have always been respected and appreciated, but today I want to intentionally honor the man God created you to be and celebrate all that you mean to our family. You are the head of our household, and I could not have chosen a better partner to walk this journey of life with. Thank you for leading with wisdom, loving with your whole heart, and demonstrating what faith, honesty, legacy, and integrity look like every single day. May you continue to be a powerful reflection of God’s love and a lasting example for generations to come. Happy Father’s Day! ❤️

This Women’s History Month has me reflecting on the 10-year journey of @103collection and I’m truly proud of what @dfondo1 and I have built. We started with no funding, no mentors, and no formal training. Just a vision, faith, and the determination to figure it out. From those early days to a full rebrand that led us to a deal with Target… it’s been an incredible journey. We’ve come a long way. To everyone who has supported us along the way, thank you. Your love, trust, and belief in our brand have meant everything. I won’t pretend it was easy. There were challenges, setbacks, and moments that tested us but somehow, we always found the strength to keep going. One of our proudest moments was being featured on WGN News for our Target launch. That moment felt surreal, and we were beyond grateful for the opportunity. Looking back, what means the most is that we stayed true to who we are committed to clean beauty, to quality, and to doing things with integrity. People often ask how we did it. And my answer is simple, we put God first. Even without the resources or support we thought we needed or expected, we kept going… and we made it happen on our own. So here’s to Women’s History Month and to every woman who keeps pushing forward, no matter what. I see you, and I celebrate you.

Dad, you are a faithful servant of God and I am thankful you are my father. You share unconditional love and understanding that any girl would want from her dad and I will always be grateful for your wisdom. I was blaming every skincare product I owned… but the real reason my face kept breaking out in painful hives? Pollen. 😩 Turns out I had airborne contact dermatitis and didn’t even realize my skin was reacting to what was floating in the air — not what I was putting on it. One of the best things I did for my skin was simplify my routine and switch to gentle, soothing products. Our Gotu Kola Facial Cleanser was a game changer. It helped calm my skin without stripping it — no fragrance, no harsh chemicals, just clean, plant-based ingredients that my sensitive skin actually loves. If you’re breaking out and can’t figure out why, don’t ignore the signs. Sometimes, it’s not your products — it’s your environment. #SensitiveSkin #SkincareMistakes #AirborneContactDermatitis #PollenAllergy #GotuKola #CleanBeauty #SkincareThatWorks #HivesRelief #103Collection #FragranceFree

I thought I was going crazy. Every time I stepped outside—boom—itching, burning, hives. At first, I blamed everything: my detergent, skincare, even stress. But nothing added up… until I realized it was pollen. Yeah—pollen! Floating through the air, landing on my skin, and sending my body into full-on defense mode. What blew my mind? It wasn’t just my nose or eyes reacting—it was my skin. Dermatologists call it ‘airborne contact dermatitis.’ Sounds fancy, but it basically means your skin hates pollen too. Now I don’t leave the house without a barrier cream, antihistamines, and a good cleanse when I get home. If this is happening to you, trust me—you’re not alone. Pollen is wild this year, and your skin might be trying to tell you something. Protect your skin like you protect your allergies—because sometimes, the air itself is the trigger.

It’s National Small Business Week, and we’re spotlighting four dynamic founders—from the BGV community and beyond—all doing incredible things in their industries. From beauty to tech, these leaders are building brands with impact. Let’s get into it: Channing Beumer, founder of @cnkdaily (BGV Alum) — building a vibrant hub for women in sneakers and streetwear, Channing is carving out space in an industry long overdue for it. Rachel James, founder of @pearnova — known for her luxury, vegan nail lacquers, Rachel made history as the first Black woman-owned brand in Ulta Beauty and dropped a stunning Marvel’s Wakanda Forever nail collab that brought superhero vibes to fingertips everywhere. Melinda Herron , founder of @103collection (BGV Alum) — her vegan skincare line has been on shelves at JCPenney and is currently stocked in Meijer! She’s out here proving that sensitive-skin girlies deserve luxury too 💚. DJ Riley, founder of @ten.daji (BGV Alum) — blending tech, culture, and creativity like no other. A BGV NextGen alum, DJ is also a Mercedes-Benz “BeVisioneers” fellow, was accepted into the Founder Institute accelerator, and is bringing the story of TENDAJI to PBS in a special feature for kids in North Carolina. Give these founders their flowers and keep rooting for those shifting the culture and creating space for the next generation of leaders. #BGV #NationalSmallBusinessWeek #SupportSmallBusiness #UnderResourcedFounders #TechAndCulture #CleanBeauty #WomenInSneakers
