Could this be the ultimate everyday Rolex?

The Rolex Cosmograph Daytona 126500LN — aka the “Panda” — was next on my list, so getting it from my fiancée for my birthday made it that much more special.

In the video, I touch on a few of the updates Rolex made going from the 11-series to the 12-series Daytona, and some of the details that make the 126500LN feel different on wrist.

And now that I’ve had some time with it…I’m gonna say it:

The Panda might be the best everyday Rolex. 🐼

It’s eye catching, clean, works with pretty much any outfit, and has just enough wrist presence without doing too much. It’s the perfect blend between sport and luxury.

I already know the GMT and Sub owners are about to come for me.

So now I want to know…

NWA 🚨 | Best. Birthday. Ever.

For my 40th, @ashleydeche surprised me with one of the most iconic watches in the game — the Rolex Cosmograph Daytona “Panda.” 🐼

Anyone who knows me knows I love a great timepiece. But what I enjoy even more is sharing this passion with the people I care about.

We started the celebration with a private cocktail hour at the boutique, where I got to introduce some of my closest friends and family to the world of Rolex, let them try on a few pieces, and share a little of what makes this hobby so special to me.

I thought THAT was the surprise.

Then came the Panda. 🐼🧊

My fiancée is the GOAT. No notes. 10/10. ❤️

A special thank you to Rolex and the Bucherer team for making my 40th one I’ll never forget. A private cocktail hour surrounded by my people followed by a Panda Daytona was definitely not on my birthday bingo card. 😂

Grateful for the watches.
Even more grateful for the people I get to enjoy them with.

Rolex is famous for one rule. No special orders. Kings, billionaires, F1 champions. Everybody waits, and everybody wears what Geneva decides to make.

Drake calls it the most important thing he owns. He says Rolex will never recreate it.

Why collectors are shook: off catalog Rolex is already invitation only territory, and factory piece uniques almost never happen in the modern era. Aftermarket iced out Rolexes are everywhere. A gem set 1 of 1 from the crown itself is a different universe.

Market value today is likely well over $2M+. You can't source what doesn’t exist.
