Abhinav Chhikara has built his work around one core idea: design needs to evolve with technology. Through 10kdesigners and Memetic Design, he has worked across design education, creative teams, branding, products and digital experiences.

Memetic Design takes an AI-native approach to creative work, helping startups build brands, websites, products, motion and storytelling. Meanwhile, 10kdesigners created a learning community for designers focused on practical skills and industry experience, giving Abhinav’s work a wider impact across India’s design ecosystem.

Up for some coooool stamps? 👀

Just a random thought that came to my mind. 'what if apps had curated festive stamp collectibles that you could unlock as rewards or prizes?

So I explored that thought with an Onam themed stamp collection, bringing together different faces and elements of Kerala’s festive culture which something that feels less like a reward you collect and more like a little piece of art that you’d actually want to keep.

One of my favorite moments from the @airtribe.live FINAL.FINAL (V1) design challenge was my conversation with @abnux (Abhinav Chhikara) Founder of @memetic.design & @10kdesigners

I shared my current fintech redesign project and explained how I often use AI as a senior design leader to review my ideas and provide feedback.

His response challenged my thinking:
- He replied though it's a good way of using AI, he also suggested using AI to build, visualise, prototype, and execute ideas faster using #codex & #claude
- The responsibility of defining the problem, making decisions and defending those decisions still belongs to the designer.

We also discussed learning paths for designers.
I asked: In the AI era, should designers focus on T-shaped learning or V-shaped learning?

His answer: "Think H-shaped. Two deep areas of expertise on either side. For example: Consider two different fields from design like graphic design and Product Design and the bridge connecting them will be AI agents. The idea wasn't about learning everything. It was about using AI to amplify multiple areas of expertise and create stronger connections between them."

My biggest takeaway:
- The future designer isn't the one competing against AI. The future designer is the one who knows how to collaborate with it.

Thank you Abhinav, for sharing a fresh perspective on learning, AI and the evolving role of designers!

The fear of saying no is costing you more than you think — more revisions, less respect, and work that slowly loses its purpose.

There's a better way to handle client changes.

This carousel gives you the exact framework to say no professionally, without losing the client or the respect.

Save this for when you need it — and you will.
