Seven years ago today, I lost one of my closest friends, Delvis Franco.

He was so much more than a friend. He was my brother in Christ. Delvis had a heart for people, a contagious smile, and a faith that inspired everyone around him. We truly believed he was going to beat cancer, and through it all, he never stopped fighting or trusting God.

This was the last video we recorded together. Every time I watch it, I’m reminded of his incredible courage and the impact he made on so many lives.

I miss you, my friend. Thank you for showing us what faith, strength, and perseverance look like.

Until we meet again… rest in peace, Delvis. ❤️🙏

¡Próximamente en cines: “A Better Way”! #ABetterWay #Cine #Inspiración @thenaomidiana @dalasdavis @a_better_way_movie @abiud_sando @urmortgagequeen @perreomaniapr @giovani.music @elbermuda @la_pulpa_dmn @viancathegrace @kk.2prettyyy @viancathegrace @therealkrayj @conversando_con_maldonado @mybrightrealtor

Right after filming in Orlando, Malissa and I had the chance to spend time with my former tour manager Manny, his wife Abby, and for the very first time meet their beautiful son, Alezion. What an amazing baby! The expression on his face in these pictures says it all. 😊

This Orlando trip was a whirlwind. We flew in to film my scenes for the movie A Better Way, and before we knew it, it was already time to head back home. I only wish we had more time to catch up with friends and family while we were there.

Now it’s back to Atlanta and on to the next school presentation. Grateful for every opportunity and every moment along the way. I’ll be sharing some behind-the-scenes pictures from the movie set tomorrow!
