With a shoe like @bambambaklava’s @newbalancelifestyle Baklava 992 in Digitalis Purpurea, it’s important that the clothing you select for your outfit isn’t overbearing. The shoe needs to have a chance to breathe.

And that’s all I show here. One of my quicker pieces as I just wanted to put out a calm fit.

This sneaker from Saucony is a piece of art.

The @saucony Kissaten ProGrid Triumph 4, designed by @kodowar, may seem like it’s just named after Japanese coffee and tea houses, but there is more to it than what’s on the surface. Swipe through to see how I styled the latest offering from Saucony and to learn what this sneaker is really all about.

Want to grab a pair? Saucony is launching them through @eqlofficial, with the entry period open until 11:59 PM ET on 4/14. Other models from the kissaten collection will release on 4/15.

Thank you to @saucony @nikki___u for sending this beautiful pair over for me!

From Hong Kong 🇭🇰 with love 🗺️

🔮 Introducing my absolute favorite pair from the “Family Reunion” Pack. 😮‍💨

🎙️ In my personal and humble opinion, these are one of the dopest and certainly most unique and detailed pair of AM95 ever! The details just go crazy and every time you look at them, you notice something ya didn’t see the last time you tossed em on foot. From the traditional gradient leather paneling usually seen on 95’s, the fam at @nike went with a variety of materials and textures which just add so much more depth to an already amazing set. The tribute to the city is timeless on the tongue… the insole and the heel panel and counter with “Nike Air” branding in an embroidered neon green, which just hits against the hues of deep reds, oranges and that. That neon green BIG 🫧 is no joke either! Insanely dope and an unmistakeable trademark of this stunner! 💯

📝 For those new to the AM95 game- the design is intentionally inspired by the human body’s anatomy, specifically representing the spinal column or vertebrae on each shoe, which was extremely groundbreaking and like nothing the sneaker world had ever seen when they originally dropped in 1995. Created by the pure genius of Sergio Lozano who worked as a designer for Nike in the ACG category, which designed All Conditions Gear, this revolutionary shoe originally released in ‘95 in the iconic original neon colorway and had a huge impact on British street culture still seen to this day. 🇬🇧

⚒️ The black midsole was originally introduced by Lozano and intended to hide dirt from running, based on the rainy conditions of Beaverton, Oregon. Met with huge resistance by execs at Nike at first due to the black midsole and lack of prominent Nike branding, this shoe instantly became a timeless classic ‼️

🪢 The nylon eyelets are designed to look like ribs and wrap the foot for a secure fit, while the original design and release of the AM95 was the first Nike shoe to feature visible Air units in both the forefoot and the heel.

Anyways… just a little history lesson for ya’ll. 📽️

Had a ton of fun with this 📸 shoot and I hope you enjoy this lot as much as I did ✌🏽
