The chandelier gets no points.

Michelin awards stars for the food. Decor and formality don’t affect the award, which helps explain how a Jumeirah villa can belong on the same dining map as Dubai’s grandest restaurants.

A good reminder to follow your appetite, even when the address doesn’t look like a special occasion.

A few months later… 💕 there’s always that low-maintenance friendship you have. We don’t speak every day, we even haven’t been to Pilates together.. 😂 10years later, still celebrates you and your milestone even vv late.. as married and busy women, we have our own lives and paths we take on.. but a short hi-hello how’s life, wanna have lunch? (If schedules aligned) is enough..

Thank you for making the time and my gift 🥰 lunch date @11woodfire this marks my 3rd @michelinguide star resto, 22nd Michelin list ⭐️ lowkey experiencing 🛞 stars 😂

Our heartfelt gratitude goes to the eight chefs from across Asia-Pacific, the restaurants they represent, and their dedicated teams for being part of the Sumba Food Festival.

Each chef brought their own perspective, creativity, and culinary signature to the table, celebrating Sumba’s local ingredients through their unique interpretations and the distinctive spirit of their restaurants.

The entire @cap_karoso team feels truly honoured to have collaborated with such inspiring culinary names to bring this meaningful festival to life. Thank you for sharing your knowledge, passion, and expertise with our team and guests, and for helping shine a light on Sumba’s food.

Until the next table we share!

The 2026 Michelin Guide Dubai is officially out this week, and we’re celebrating with two homegrown favourites making Jumeirah a very good place to eat.

First up, Sufret Maryam, chef Salam Dakkak’s much-loved celebration of Palestinian and Levantine cooking, which has retained its Michelin Bib Gourmand for 2026.

Then, 11 Woodfire, where exceptional ingredients and open-fire cooking have once again earned it a Michelin Star.

Two homegrown success stories. Two Michelin distinctions. One very good neighbourhood.

And the best part? Both are on SupperClub.

Discover these and more Michelin-starred and Michelin Guide-recognised restaurants by downloading the SupperClub app. Your next award-winning meal awaits.

MICHELIN Guide Dubai 2026 —

Orfali Bros @orfalibros_bistro поднялись до ★★ и присоединились к Il Ristorante – Niko Romito @bvlgarinikoromitodubai, Row on 45 @rowon45dubai и STAY by Yannick Alléno @stay_dubai.

В категории ★★★ без изменений: FZN by Björn Frantzén @restaurantfzn и Trèsind Studio @tresindstudio.

Поздравляю все проекты, шефов и команды — как с новыми звёздами, так и с подтверждением уже полученных. Большая работа и очень заслуженный результат.

MICHELIN Guide Dubai 2026, the key highlights.

For the fifth year in a row, I covered MICHELIN Guide Dubai directly from the ceremony, once again as the only invited Russian-speaking food journalist.

KIGO @kigo.dubai and Birch @birch_dubai by Arslan Berdiev earned their first ★. Berdiev became the first Russian chef and restaurateur to receive a MICHELIN star in Dubai.

Orfali Bros @orfalibros_bistro moved up to ★★, joining Il Ristorante – Niko Romito @bvlgarinikoromitodubai, Row on 45 @rowon45dubai and STAY by Yannick Alléno @stay_dubai.

At ★★★, the line-up remains unchanged: FZN by Björn Frantzén @restaurantfzn and Trèsind Studio @tresindstudio.

Congratulations to all the restaurants, chefs and teams — both on the new stars and on retaining the ones already earned. A major achievement and a well-deserved result. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
