Today is somewhat bitter sweet. It’s ma dukes Bday and her 3 kids was able to get together to visit her despite rain and schedules. I Thank God for that. Anyways HAPPY HEAVENLY BIRTHDAY MOMMY🌹💐🎈🎊🕊️. We know your in heaven having a ball showing the angels how to line dance and all lol. We truly miss you and although we still need you, God needed you more. Keep us a seat behind heavens gates until we meet again. We love you ma forever more❤️👸🏿😇🕊️

What a night! 🏡💙 I’m so proud to stand alongside @housingunlimited as a member of the Board of Directors and to be part of a community that shows up — year after year — for adults in mental health recovery. At this year’s Welcome Home Celebration, hosted beautifully by @dougkammerer we celebrated 32 years of providing safe, affordable housing in Montgomery County and raised funds to ensure that mission continues. Getting to experience that with my nana, my sister @ayyee_mia and my cousin @120611 made it even more meaningful. Every dollar raised, every story shared, and every door opened matters. Here’s to the next 32 years of creating real change. 🙌 #HousingUnlimited #WelcomeHomeCelebration #MentalHealthRecovery #AffordableHousing #MontgomeryCounty NonprofitLife MentalHealthMatters CommunityFirst

Congratulations to my daughter, Zoe Stancil, on graduating from Fisk University with her Bachelor’s Degree! I kept saying to Zoe, “Wow, those four years flew by!” — and in true Zoe fashion, she replied, “They did not fly by, they felt like four whole years… but I loved every minute of being at Fisk.” Fair enough! We are beyond proud of her amazing accomplishment. Let’s not forget, Zoe and the Class of 2025 started their college journey at the tail end of a pandemic — freshman year meant being on campus in Nashville, but in class on Zoom. Talk about a college experience like no other! Now she’s off to graduate school, full of excitement (and maybe just a little bit of nerves) for what’s next. A big THANK YOU to all the family and friends who traveled to Nashville to celebrate with us. And to Zoe’s village — those who couldn’t attend due to limited tickets but still sent prayers, love, money (yes, we saw that CashApp), and kind words — your support means the world. Everyone, please join me in telling Zoe: CONGRATULATIONS! Job well done! The world better get ready — she’s just getting started.
