It’s all in the details🤍

We love seeing couples incorporate the things that make their relationship uniquely theirs.

Every wedding tells a different story, and it’s those personal touches that bring it all together and make the day that much more special.

At The Swan Barn Door, we love being part of bringing that vision to life. From our wedding coordinators and dedicated staff to our in-house catering and trusted preferred vendors, we’re here to help bring all those little details together so you can focus on enjoying every moment of your day. 🤍

Our first month of marriage hasn’t been what we expected, dealing with doctor visits, insurance, lawyers, and honeymoon cancellation. Despite the chaos, we’ve still spent this time reveling in how lucky we are to have each other and such amazing, loving, and thoughtful friends and family!

ICYMI: Scott’s neck was broken by a hit-and-run driver only 2 weeks before our wedding. He was riding his bike when a careless driver ran a solid red light through his body, and sped away. CPD caught the girl who did it, so tbd on the city’s prosecution! Since this has happened, we have been horrified to hear how common an occurrence being hit by a car (often hit and run) is in Chicago, and how many loved ones have been killed or severely injured by reckless and careless drivers. Cyclists, wear a helmet! Drivers, WATCH FOR BIKES!! And get off your phone!!

We are SO LUCKY that Scott is walking, talking, alive, and was still able to have a wedding. Huge thanks to our vendors who made our day feel seamless and easy despite our other stressors!

From delicious food to all the little details that bring your wedding day together! 🤍

Here at Swan Barn Door, all of our food is prepared in-house, with most of our proteins grilled or smoked. We offer family-style, buffet, and plated dining options, along with hot and cold appetizers, a variety of sides, vegetables, house salads, and options for our littlest guests!

Choosing your menu is just one of the many details our wedding coordinators, Candace and Brianna, can help you with!

From helping you navigate menu options to coordinating your reception setup, arranging dinner tables, keeping everything on schedule, and making sure all those finishing touches are in place, they’re there to help bring your vision to life.

Having Candace and Brianna by your side means having a team that knows the venue, understands the details, and works behind the scenes to make your day flow seamlessly, so you can focus on celebrating with the people you love!!!

Congratulations to the Swalves!!! 🦢✨

A rainy Saturday in the Dells, a few last-minute weather shuffles, and the prettiest day at Swan Barn Door. We still pulled off the outdoor ceremony, filled the venue with flowers and candles galore, and ended the night with a very happy dance floor.

What an AMAZING vendor team… everyone was hustling from start to finish. Huge thank you to the flower team for absolutely crushing it, and of course a shoutout to @welcm2myjourney for being such a gem through all of the planning. So many hours went into making this day happen for Melanie + Cade, and it showed in every little detail. So happy for these two! 🫶🏽
