Never needed a thank you
Did it all out of love
I appreciate you
Staying patient, faithful, I’m grateful
Even though we fell out of touch
Some things never separate like rays of the sun
Kissin’ upon your skin
Whispers speak to you through the wind
It can be so dark outside
Now I find out why
Light burns so bright like fire
Heart yearns to fight
Trading pain for conviction
Desire to learn, the weight is wisdom
Late at night thinkin’ about you listening
As the rain trickles across the train whistling
In the mind, zinc roof top in disguise
Why do we wait so long to be alive?
Patience thin from a child I’ve been
Impulsive, repulsed by sin, temptations
Friends… stab us in the back
Still we face them again and again
Fire makes me think about you
Rain too, maybe a bit more, not sure
If it’s opposites or…
The reflection of you in the pool
As the mist rises, the scent of which tranquilizes
Memories into view, and God, I thank you
(chorus)
Life is a riddle
We all in the middle of
As the rain trickles
I think of love

I’d give two cents
Only have a nickle
Thanks to the Vigil
As the rain trickles

In the grand persuasion
Don’t get lost in days when
Look the other way turn the cheek
Time is changing as the rain trickles

“Level headed, embedded, that’s where we threaded” @necnymbl your verse is 🫀🙏

Nec Nymbl & RAjaw team together again to deliver another soulful and spiritually lyrical track for Hip Hop. Deeply vibrant, melodic frequencies shine light on the beauty of pain and love, the journey one walks in life. The sounds of rain drops on a quiet day, the bass line aligns the listener with presence as the drums kick off. Sweet strings, woodwinds, and keys welcome the listener to hearing poetry riddled with gratitude and reverence for trials and tribulations. Both emcees immerse their voice within the potent production of Nec Nymbl. The song continually embraces emotion, mood shifting, and faith. Share this track with your ears and some one you love. A truthful performance in all directions with blessings from above, raining upon us, As The Rain Trickles.
