**七転び八起き (Nana korobi ya oki)**
Hey everyone,

I started skating a little over a year ago, at 36. Right now, I’m injured and not at my best, but I stay confident—I’ll be back on the board soon.

Every injury and pause is frustrating, making progress feel even slower. To keep my spirits up, I’m sharing this reel with footage from about a month ago.

It took countless mistakes to land a single feeble stall(?). But in the end, I got there.

They say success is falling seven times and standing up eight—I will stand up, and I will skate.

Thanks to @13nilsonwheels13 for filming and editing.

The trend of improving in the bowl. Only, @surfskatenils interjects with better technique at the end…
