There is beauty in the details of life. If we look closer, we see the deeper part of ourselves in everything around us. The universe is a mirror to the world’s inside of you. Nature is a part of us and we are a part of it.

It’s been a week since we released the Barbelith / Trhä collab split and appreciate all of the support so far. Big shout out to @mattredenbo for opening up the studio. It was a very fun process to make this record. We will be announcing dates for upcoming shows very soon. Album will be available for streaming outside of bandcamp by the end of the year along with vinyl dropping next year via @thirdhouselabel

There is something innately masculine about “the hunt.”

It is not simply the act of tracking your animal, but the need to dominate, to outwit.

The hunter’s focus,
his unwavering patience,
and the quiet control he exerts over his body
are all aspects of masculinity
that have been celebrated since time began.

The thrill of the chase,
the skill in the kill,
and the respect paid to the fallen prey
are rites of passage that speak to the heart of manhood, connecting him to a past where survival depended on these very instincts.

Life moves at mysterious speeds
We never know where time ends & begins but what is certain are these memories we hold
This flower inside of us blossoms to see the light we were always meant to be

I’m happy to share that I will be offering private and small group sessions at @relaxaltamontesprings on Wednesday evenings and Thursdays.
This is a lovely space created by @orlandoenergyworker and is a brilliant hub for healing in central florida. My booking system has changed for the 1:1 sessions. If have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out.

With Gratitude,
Sakina

A big thank you to @13th_house for the footage 🎥🙏🏽

An artist portrait video done by @13th_house showing my art process and my relationship to art in my home studio.
‘Art is a process, like piecing together the puzzles of our subconscious mind. It sometimes feels like remembering our dreams, reaching for the metaphors and lessons they hold. I let my intuition guide me, I let myself become a vessel of creation. In the final moments when you realize a piece is complete, it feels like a mirror to your inner worlds. It feels like you solved a riddle to a gateway in your mind. Art will forever be a process of trusting my intuition.’
