Let’s talk about Dan’s cowboy boots for a moment.
They’ve built a fan club of their own, and honestly? I get it.
They have stolen the hearts of many on the internet.

Give me grooms with personality over playing it safe every single time.

Liv and Dan were inspired by nature, fairies, the night’s sky and a healthy dose of theatricality for their April wedding. Their celebration unfolded beneath homemade paper stars, beside a giant glittering moon and in front of the ruined chapel at Royle Forest.

Dan, an artist, painted the invitations and hand-drew each guest’s place card. Liv’s mum spent hours making paper stars that hung throughout the venue. “Our wedding theme was a celestial fairy feast,” Liv explained. “One guest described it as ‘if Baz Luhrmann directed A Midsummer Night’s Dream‘ which is just as good.”

Liv & Dan’s wedding film trailer shot at @royleforest

What a banger of a day, at an absolutely incredible venue! Working alongside Dan at @blackhoundtattoo I knew when he asked me to be the wedding videographer for his and Livs wedding at Royle Forest that we were in store for an extra special day full to the brim of interesting, quirky, and unique elements, alongside some killer outfits to match.

I mean, the snakeskin boots and custom pink suit to Liv’s stunning green dress, every detail had the couples personality running throughout it. A wedding built around doing things their own way.

Their wedding film trailer reflects all of it, with nods to the tarot inspired styling woven through the decor and reception. Taking a bit of inspiration from this for the trailer by incorporating ‘The Lovers’ card and the couple’s playful alter egos, this makes for one hell of a fun trailer.

If you’re planning a wedding that feels like you, and want wedding films full of style, story, and real moments, I’m here for it.

Liv & Dan 💒 Massive congratulations to the happy couple! It was a joy to work with you and to be part of your beautiful matrimony.

For Liv - a wedding band made to hug an existing engagement ring, iced with emeralds and a central moissanite💎

For Dan - a signet ring hand carved, Irish Claddagh hand engraved 💚
