I’m really not high maintenance. It’s just funny how awareness changes things. Living as an expat means our groceries, beauty products, snacks, and household goods come from all over the world. 🌏 Different regulations. Different standards. Different labeling. At first, I didn’t think much about it. But over time, learning more about things like: • “Natural flavors” • Artificial food dyes • Synthetic fragrances & phthalates • Ultra-processed additives • Ingredients banned in some countries but not others • Endocrine disruptors • Fragrances & Perfumes …made me pause. Not in fear. Just in awareness. Now I don’t aim for extreme. I aim for informed. I don’t beat myself up and stress over things I can’t control. But I can make gradual changes. Small swaps. Better choices when possible. Grace when it’s not. I’m curious — as you’ve learned more on your wellness journey, what’s one shift that felt aligned for you? What changes have you made in your life? #healthandwellness #wellnessjourney #goodbetterbest #toxinfreelifestyle #naturalsolutions

🌿Organic or not, U.S. or elsewhere, washing and cleaning your produce IS A MUST in order to remove any dirt or pesticide residue. Scroll for recipe 👇 👉 In U.S., if purchasing fruits or veggies on the Dirty Dozen list, try to buy organic when you can (5-digit PLU code that starts with 9 means it’s organic). 👇 I’ve also included the Clean 15—these are fruits and veggies that tend to have lower pesticide residues. ☀️Here’s a quick, safe way to clean your fruits + veggies- 🍎 💦1 cup water 1 cup white vinegar 1 tablespoon baking soda 💧3–5 drops doTERRA Lemon essential oil 🍋 (you can also add a drop of doTERRA On Guard for extra cleansing power) Instructions: 1️⃣ In a large bowl or spray bottle, combine the water, vinegar, and baking soda (do it slowly — it’ll fizz!). 2️⃣ Add the essential oils and mix gently. 3️⃣ Soak your produce for 5–10 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with cold water. 4️⃣ Pat dry and store as usual! TIP: Lemon 🍋 essential oil helps break down waxy coatings and residues, and it smells super fresh. 👉 COMMENT “SPRAY” if you would like a quick, spray-on version that’s perfect for berries, apples, tomatoes and anything you don’t wish to soak. 🌟 Hers’s the CLEAN LIST of 15 fruits & veggies that don’t need to be purchased organic: 🍍pineapples 🌽sweet corn (fresh + frozen) 🥑avocados ✨papaya 🧅 onion 🫛 sweet peas (frozen) ✨asparagus 🥬 cabbage 🍉 watermelon 💫 cauliflower 🍌bananas 🥭 mangoes 🥕 carrots 🍄‍🟫 mushrooms 🥝 kiwi 👉SAVE this post to refer to next time you’re grocery shopping. 🛒 #healthyliving #producewash #eat clean #doterraessentialoils #toxinfreeliving #wellnessjourney

Selecting Eggs 🥚 can be so confusing! What’s the Difference between Cage-Free, Organic, Pasture-Raised, Free Range? 🐓 Cage-Free- Hens are not kept in cages, but they’re usually indoors in a barn or warehouse with limited space. Pros: Better than caged environments, allowing for some movement. Cons: They typically don’t go outside, and indoor conditions can still be crowded. 🐓Free-Range- Hens have some outdoor access, but the amount of space and the quality of that outdoor area varies. Pros: More movement and natural behaviors compared to cage-free. Cons: The term isn’t heavily regulated, so “outdoor access” could mean a small, crowded area. 🐓Pasture-Raised- Hens are raised on open pastures, usually with at least 108 square feet per hen. They forage for food like insects and plants, which enhances the eggs’ nutritional value. Pros: Most humane and natural environment, leading to healthier, more nutrient-rich eggs (higher in omega-3s and vitamins). Cons: More expensive due to higher farming costs. 🌿 Organic- Hens are fed organic, non-GMO feed without synthetic pesticides or fertilizers. They also have outdoor access, though not necessarily open pastures. Pros: No harmful chemicals or antibiotics. Cons: Outdoor access is not as extensive as pasture-raised. Hope this helps! #healthyliving #wellnessjourney #healthylifestyle #eggs #nongmo #organiceggs #pastureraisedeggs
