Ugh I never have the right words or enough words to explain how I feel about this event and these people and my family and my friends MY EYES ARE SWEATING!

402 is my baby and being able to bring it to life in front of so many people is just such a blessing and something I’ll never take for granted.♥️ Thank you so dang much to my family because these days they eat sleep and breathe 402 just about as much as I do and they’ve made the growing pains exponentially easier on me.

I love @junkstock and I love my Junkstock family thank u so much to everyone for everything I think I just used my last brain cell when I typed the word ‘exponentially’ so I gotta go to bed

I LOVE U SO BAD! SEE U AT THE MALL! Xoxoxoxox, commish

One of our favorite parts of having a shop like this is getting to share space with incredibly talented local artists 🎨🥰

Plants make a home feel alive, but art gives it personality. The little details that make someone stop mid-conversation and say 'wait, where did you get that!?'

This month we've loved watching people build spaces that feel layered and personal with pieces from local makers.

There's something very Omaha about it too. Creative people supporting creative people, finding ways to make everyday spaces feel a little more thoughtful and a lot more interesting.

So today we're spotlighting the artists and makers whose work helps make Chlorophyll feel like more than just a plant shop 💚

What's one piece in your home that always gets compliments from guests?

This month especially, we've been thinking a lot about what it means to bloom. Not perfectly. Not all at once. Just steadily, imperfectly, in ways that deserves celebrating anyway 🥂

Some days blooming looks big and exciting. Other days it's finally repotting the plant you've been avoiding for three months, opening up your email, or remembering to take care of yourself before your to-do list 😚

Nature doesn't rush into full color overnight, and neither do people. We're all just figuring things out one season at a time.

So here's your gentle reminder that small growth still counts, and tiny wins deserve their own little celebration too ✨️

Mother's Day is closer than you think 🌸

It's not the only day of the year we should celebrate our moms, but it's one of the most important!

If you're wondering what to get the Mothers in your life, here's a mini list of some of current faves:

The Zen Mom:
Soft light, quiet mornings, something calming like a Succulent Garden that turns her space into a little retreat, a candle from @168candles , and a @mossify mistr to give her an extra boost of calm.

The Busy Mom:
Low maintenance, still looks good, a Watermelon Peperomia that keeps up with her space, some handmade soap from @storehousemercantile and don't forget a self watering pot from @craftware_pottery that will make it not feel like you gave her another thing to take care of.

The "don't get me anything" Mom:
Something small but thoughtful from the shop she wouldn't pick for herself but will love like a custom made wall planter from @abackwoodsfarm and a card from @kwohtations

As a bonus, if you're not a flowers-from-the-grocery-store kind of person, we get it. We'll have our bouquet bar the first two weekends of May, so you can actually build something that feels like your moms favorite gift 💐

Finally if you can't pick from these, we do have a Mothers day permanent bouquet class if "experience" is more of the vibe.

Which of these sounds most like your mom?
