169 Bar has been around since 1916 and was once known as “the Bloody Bucket” - a nickname tied to its much rowdier days as an old school neighborhood watering hole.

More than a century later, it’s still wonderfully weird, with a leopard-print pool table, New Orleans influence, pickle martinis and, most importantly, Five Boroughs on the beer list. 👀🍺

What a weekend of skateboarding. NYC was vibrating with love, energy, and generations of the skate family all at the Brooklyn Banks together.

Seeing the people I came up with, longtime friends, and the next generation all sharing the same energy that’s NYC skateboarding.

What a beautiful first month it has been for us since we opened July 31ST.

The Love we’ve felt from the Union Square community, Our friends, Family, and Everyone who has walked through Our Doors has meant more than we can say.

Seeing people come in, enjoy themselves, play some tunes, have a drink, grab a bite and just feel good in the space is exactly what we hoped for.

THANK YOU from the heart to everyone who has shown us love and supported us from the beginning.

This is only the start. Let’s keep the good energy going, keep the jukebox playing and keep making memories together through the holiday season and beyond.
