We’re so excited to welcome 1820 Dance Convention as one of our new scholarships at Dance Explosion 2025!

1820 Dance Ltd. began from a conversation between two friends who were looking for a way to motivate and inspire young dancers during a time of uncertainty.

They are officially entering their seventh season and are incredibly grateful for the immense community support they have received over the years. Their event has experienced amazing growth, and they continue to be thankful for the support of the dance community.

1820 Dance Ltd. is proud to continue their mission of bringing dance excellence to their convention by showcasing Canadian-born talent. Their events are designed to inspire dancers, enhance training, and provide opportunities to learn from a dynamic faculty.

Scholarship recipients will have the opportunity to attend in Saskatoon, SK on October 17 & 18, 2026.

We can’t wait to award this exciting opportunity at Dance Explosion this season! @1820dance @danceplusregina @dancepluslumsden @dancesensationsbydesire @angelas_dance_academy @xceleratedance
