We are not finished with this room but the drapes and lamps are worth a sneak peek. We are waiting on some custom pieces and bedding but love how calming this updated and refreshed primary bedroom is feeling. Oh, and yup, obsessed with these lamps! Swipe for the before

This popped into my memories on photos last night and I felt compelled to share. It’s been five whole years and I would still take this bathroom all day long! Great design doesn’t follow trends, it follows its gut. Like a fine wine it gets better with age! I don’t look at this and think 2021, I could have made these same choices last week and would be just as confident and proud. Cheers 🍷

When you have the best clients and the most amazing vendors, this job truly is a blast!! I’m so grateful for both.

…a picture from clients who are moving new selections into a vacation home in Big Canoe, GA. You’d never get me off of this couch!

Thank you to @lolofrenchantiques, @18thstorientals and @athomefurnishings

Don’t make it complicated! 🙃🫪😝😘🤩

Sometimes small works have just as much punch as one giant painting!

Yes I put my own art in my own home. Sometimes I go to my studio and see what’s there 🥳😉😆😜 These framed paintings fit perfectly and accomplished just what I needed. I didn’t want anything busy or fussy.

This girl’s bedroom at this beautiful Lake Martin home is what dreams are made of. The gorgeous rug is the foundation piece for the interiors in this space. It adds such a fun and colorful element to this room that we wanted to feel fun and airy. We selected a gorgeous creamy color for all over with the most subtle hint of faded blue on the back wall peeking through to tie in with the pop of blue on the seaglass bed.

We planned a king size bed along with twin over queen bunks with pullout drawers for maximum storage and sleeping space… because the lake is always better with friends and her sorority sisters from Auburn!

Thanks to @jallsopp for the gorgeous photos for @birminghamhomeandgarden

Peek inside a family room with lots of layers and textures. This soothing palette has pretty blue and green accents. My favorite! 💙💚 #markkennamerdesign #interioresdesign

A favorite primary bathroom remodel. So many intentional details went into this project to create this dreamy spa like curated space. The original bathroom didn’t even have a shower and was just one big open space. Still love this end result.

About last night…it was a wonderful reminder what a home is truly for and how special the memories made within its walls. My house was clean and filled with fresh flowers, starched linens and some of their favorite people as we celebrated the engagement of my nephew @jcallaway24 and his adorable fiancée @caroline_sanger. Join me in wishing them a life of joy, laughter and many blessings as the next few months lead up to their wedding. #danawolterinteriors #theeleganceandcomfortofhome #grateful

It has been a privilege to get to know the mission of @collegechoicefoundation and to work with them on the renovation of their new home. This foundation serves high achieving disadvantaged high school students by helping them find college placement. Having assisted 315 students over the past 12 years, the foundation is having a great impact on the Birmingham community. This photo gallery represents many of the universities where they have placed students.

Who loves a good Before and After? This children’s den in this stunning @alysbeach renovation made quite a transformation.

We reimagined every inch of this home to create spaces that are elevated, functional, and truly livable for a family who loves the beach lifestyle. This room was designed specifically with real life in mind — sandy feet, wet bathing suits, movie nights, lounging after long beach days, and everything in between.

The entire space was layered with high-performance indoor/outdoor fabrics so it can handle the wear of coastal living while still feeling refined, relaxed, and effortlessly chic. Durable enough for kids, beautiful enough for guests.

Our goal throughout the renovation was to blend comfort, practicality, and timeless coastal design — creating a home that feels as good as it looks. To see more of this home, pick up a copy of our new coffee table book, “The Elegance And Comfort Of Home”. #danawolterinteriors #theeleganceandcomfortofhome #alysbeachinteriordesign #beforeandafterhome Home renovation in Alys Beach featuring a bar
