Simple Kind of Love is out in the world!!!

Proceeds from this song will go to support @just4pal 🇵🇸 (read about their awesome mahi/work in my bio!) – streaming doesn’t pay much but every single play, every save and every share counts!

This song was born 5/6 YEARS ago during a writing session with Andy Hopkins and Andrew Burford @1_above - thanks so much to Andrew for producing and mixing this gem (and for thankfully keeping the stems after so long!!!) Shoutout to Benny @organik_muzik_workz for the magnificent master and to @maori_mermaid for the ātaahua artwork.

This song fell into the hands of the wonderful @davidzietsman earlier this year by absolute chance. Thanks to the bro for believing in my music from day dot, for supporting me and helping me create my second EP/album!!

The reason any of this is happening is all thanks to my mum. She relentlessly cold emails my music to any address she can get her hands on 😅 she refuses to give up on the music I’ve made, even when I feel like giving up. My number 1 fan, the origin of my story, and the reason I am where I am today.

Thank you everyone for supporting my music. I honestly hate promoting my music but I am proud of it so heh yeah. Also got a lil IG group chat/channel thing if anyone wants to keep up with my releases (I promise not to bombard yall) xx

1 year ago today we dropped our debut album. For us it opened doors, broke down barriers, started conversations, made a few changes to the industry, allowed us to have a voice and take our communities with us every step of the way. Won multiple awards including two @aria_official and was named @rollingstoneaus best new act and even got a five star review from the sis @sosefuamoli. @d_a_n_b_o_y_d did our album cover. We played festivals, small rooms, big rooms & the premier Sydney pub @chippolord where we wrote a bit of the album. Hit #1 on the hip hop charts and #5 over all. Broke the SxSW app on our debut show I didn’t see any other notification go out that the venue was way over capacity 🤷🏽‍♂️. We also done a world tour with only one international stop 😂. Done a like a version, live at the wireless and was feature album @triple_j! @spotifyaunz didn’t give us a billboard but still gave us mad support maybe the next one they put us in time square or the local Nowra bulletin board. We want to thank everybody involved in KTD probably too many to tag so apologies if we missed anyone. Do it all again soon.

‘Never Coming Home’ was the first song we wrote over a two-day writing session with @six60 & @1_above. Massive shout out to @matiuwalters and the whole Six60 crew for being part of this track and two other songs on our upcoming album, ‘Fall From The Light’.

This Thursday we return with “Our Greats” written with the help of a bunch of young mob from the @wearewarriors_au program. Paying tribute to the legends who paved they way.
