WOW💥

Just at the airport catching up on all the amazing comments & feedback from this year's @impactk9_uk Conference 2025.

A huge thanks to everyone who came - speakers, sponsors, exhibitors & delegates.

10th year of doing it & still pushing boundaries.

Some fantastic sessions, thought provoking conversations but most importantly great people coming together to share ideas, learn & network.

Onto planning 2026........

On Friday, Sheffield UOTC was visited by dog handlers from the 1st Military Working Dog Regiment.

Our officer cadets were given a demo of search techniques and told about officer opportunities with the regiment.

Thank you @1_mwd for an excellent evening.

#Todayin 2008 We lost one of our Military Working Dogs (MWD), German Shepherd Oz, he was working as a guard dog in Musa Qala, Afghanistan, when he was killed in action.

Thoughts go out to all his handlers, the people who cared for him and all those who had the privilege of meeting/playing/used as a chew toy with him on this day of days, may he rest in peace and may we never forget him 🇬🇧.

To all those who serve, we will never forget.

This new piece of kit could get military working dogs operational even faster 🐶💥

Alongside their handlers, they’ve trialled rifle and mobile blast simulators to help expose them to the noises of a combat environment 🔊

To celebrate #internationaldogsday let's have a look at some of the fine hounds currently serving in NATO Multinational Battlegroup Estonia from the British 1st Military Working Dogs Regiment

Not only do dogs provide a key military capability, but they also raise the morale of the troops around them in a way only dogs can
