🕌 LIL DURK & HIS JOURNEY TO ISLAM

Lil Durk’s journey with Islam did not begin after his arrest.

Years before his current federal case, Durk had already been speaking about religion, learning more about Islam, and trying to change his lifestyle.

🇺🇸 2022: Durk spoke about getting deeper into religion and learning more about Islam.

☪️ 2024: He became more open about his faith and publicly identified himself as Muslim, while also speaking about entering a new chapter of his life and distancing himself from his old lifestyle.

🚔 October 24, 2024: Lil Durk was arrested in Florida and charged in a federal case involving an alleged murder-for-hire conspiracy.

⚖️ Durk has pleaded not guilty and continues to fight the charges in court.

His story is a reminder that sometimes a person can begin changing their heart and their relationship with Allah before their circumstances change.

“Sometimes Allah changes your heart before He changes your circumstances.” 🤲🏾

🕌 LIL DURK & HIS JOURNEY TO ISLAM

Sometimes Allah changes your heart before He changes your circumstances. 🤲🏾

This is a gratitude and appreciation post to my dawg and Brudda @_djbandz I ain’t gonna be low winded and 💩 but I remember a few key things you told me that stick with me everyday and I appreciate you for this 💩 when my confidence was low at the time, my pockets was low, homeless, and I ain’t know what the next step was I don’t forget these things
1. “ Don’t move back to the towns I’m gonna turn you up if I don’t turn you up you don’t have to stay in the A you can go back”
2. “Yo Ski you got it my 🥷🏾 anybody can be around millionaires Blood but you add value to em remember that”
3. “Ski Energy is real, you not gonna be your best self if you keep certain energy around”
4. “ wait to ball ski, stack your cheese”
5. “ Keep ya foot on these 🥷🏾’s Necks ski”
You gain family in life the spirit does it, I went from listening to y’all music to get through hard times because I related to it, to you coming to me when you wanted to change your life and lock in with health and that formula created a brotherhood we from two different demographics and timezones but the walk of life and goal is the same to take care of ourselves and our people this year Been lit as hell The good, the bad, the ugly this shaped me for the next level I appreciate you brodee more than you know or I can explain gang Love bro 💪🏾🧪🫡 #lafamilia🤞🏾🩸#kalifitness #itgetabnormal
