On this day last year, I participated in what was meant to be a day of doing whatever I needed to get me back to me…

I was in a heavy space spiritually & felt lost, left out and overall over it. My heart was sad for so many reasons and I didn’t like it because it was foreign to me; pouring into people was always so easy but I was depleted from so many disappointments from people I thought would still be a part of my life’s journey.

It was also the day my son’s father had a stroke & I didn’t find out until 2 days after, which happens to be my mom’s birthday…reflection & celebration have always been betwixt with grief & grace in my world, so today I sit still and meditate on how much I’ve grown from the space I was in 🫶🏽

Thankful for the friends that get it and don’t let you forget it❣️
