Another day in the shop, another full-body workout 🏋️‍♂️⚡

@1of1woodworker pulled off a textbook solo flip with this massive live-edge slab. Managing that much weight and leverage on your own leaves zero margin for hesitation.

We build Tulipe for real-world conditions like this. Crafted from heavy-duty steel and finished with a durable powder coat, it is made to handle friction, pressure, and real shop use.

Bring shop-ready, heavy-duty hardware to your next build. Explore Tulipe at the link in bio.

🪚💥INTERIOR DOOR REFINISH 💥🪚
The Goblin Market in Mount Dora is an icon of the town. I’ve been doing projects for them for years and here is the latest.
It was requested that I refinish the door onsite and in place. It’s a heavy, older swinging door on spring hinges.
I sanded the door down to the bare wood under a makeshift plastic tent I fashioned. Tons o’ fun, lol.
After the door was sanded, it was very uneven and splotchy. It looked even worse after the first coat of stain.
I made my own toner (20% color, 80% top coat. General Finishes dark brown dye, General Finishes high performance) and “colored-in” the lighter spots. I did that twice, then once all over, then top coat.
I also repainted the handles and kick plates.
Enjoy!

No dramatic setup. No slow-motion test. Just complete confidence that the slab and the foundation underneath are doing exactly what they were designed to do.

That confidence comes from countless decisions made along the way. From choosing the right slab and refining the proportions to pairing it with a base worthy of its scale.

Our Namu table base plays its role with quiet assurance. Its branching silhouette echoes the natural movement of the live edge while keeping the visual weight centered, allowing the slab to remain the focal point.

A big thank you to @1of1woodworker for letting us be part of another remarkable build.

How to anchor a heavy live-edge slab without adding bulky hardware underneath.

Our customer @1of1woodworker shows how simple it can be to secure a substantial tabletop with Ramo table legs. With basic shop tools and less than 15 minutes, the installation comes together with clean, precise execution.

Ramo features a distinctive mounting structure with individual attachment tabs. Bolting through each tab allows the flowing curves of the legs to transition smoothly into the slab without adding visual bulk below.

The final flip makes every second of prep work worth it. Deep organic wood tones meet modern architectural metal in a dynamic, balanced centerpiece.

Which Flowyline base would you like to see installed next?

They say you don't really own a piece of Old Growth Redwood, you just take care of it for the next generation.

When we saw this incredible slab from @1of1woodworker, it was clear that the wood wasn't just being worked, it was being respected. The depth of the color, the intensity of the burl, and the master-level finish achieved with the UV Hard Wax Oil are simply breathtaking.

There is a weight and a history in wood like this that demands a foundation meant to endure. We were honored to see the Tulipe base chosen to accompany such a legendary piece. With a silhouette inspired by nature and delicate, fluid curves, the Tulipe provides the necessary strength to support this heavy slab without ever competing with its organic beauty.

Being able to witness projects like this is exactly what fuels our passion and keeps us inspired. We’d love to see what you are currently working on, tag us or share your latest project below!

🚚📦 Delivery day is one of the most rewarding moments for any maker, and what better way to step into a new week than by celebrating a job well done.

The artisan behind this stunning table is @1of1woodworker, who took a salvaged Guanacaste slab that survived a fire and turned it into a breathtaking centerpiece. Rustic black walnut bow tie inlays were added, highlighting the natural character while helping preserve its character for years to come.

We were thrilled and deeply honored to have our Ramo table legs chosen to be a part of this incredible build. Seeing it finally resting in its forever home is the perfect way to kick off a new week of creativity.

Every project has its turning point where raw material becomes art. Wishing you all a high-energy week ahead filled with exciting new projects and orders!
