What a wonderful evening celebrating an incredible group of women! 💙

Tonight, our 100 Women Who Care Mississauga Steering Team took a break from planning, organizing, and volunteering to enjoy a well-deserved Team Appreciation Dinner.

We had so much fun creating beautiful succulent planters during a workshop led by Vinnie from @vinnierosedesigns, followed by a delicious catered Greek dinner from @lazroscanada Greek Grills in Meadowvale.

To our amazing Steering Team—thank you for the countless hours you volunteer behind the scenes to make every Giving Circle a success. Your dedication, teamwork, and passion are what make our chapter so special.

I appreciate each and every one of you and all that you do for our members and our community. Have a great summer break! See you in September! 💙

🌸 Bloom & Belong 2026 Recap 🌸

What a beautiful day.

On June 17, 40 incredible women gathered at Hillcrest Gatherings for the very first Bloom & Belong Retreat — a day dedicated to connection, reflection, growth, and community.

From guided meditation and somatic movement to sound baths, grounding sessions, meaningful panel discussions, creativity, laughter, and even a few visits from some very adorable goats, every experience was intentionally designed to help women pause, reconnect, and simply be present.

We watched new friendships form, meaningful conversations unfold, and women support one another in ways that reminded us exactly why community matters.

A heartfelt thank you to our speakers, facilitators, sponsors, volunteers, Bloom Guides, and every attendee who trusted us with their day. Your openness, kindness, and willingness to connect made this retreat everything we hoped it would be.

The theme was Bloom & Belong, and by the end of the day, it was clear that something special had blossomed.

Thank you for being part of it. 💕🌿

Today is the day of our MAWB 1- Day Retreat, we're looking forward to hearing from our Panel: Belonging, Community & Connection

Moderator: Shalini Dharna Kibsey @1shalinidk

Joining Shalini for this meaningful discussion will be:
Pam Pabla, @pampablainsurance Ritu Kohli-Sethi @ritu5 , and Elvira V. Hopper @evhopper

Together, these inspiring women will explore the importance of authentic connection, supportive communities, mentorship, and the power of women coming together in both business and life.

Through personal stories, lived experiences, and honest reflections, the conversation will examine what it truly means to belong—especially during seasons when life, business, or personal challenges can leave us feeling isolated or disconnected.

Attendees will hear insights on building genuine relationships, finding supportive communities, creating meaningful connections, and moving beyond traditional networking to foster relationships that uplift, encourage, and empower.

This heartfelt discussion is designed to remind us that we are not meant to navigate life or entrepreneurship alone. We hope participants leave feeling inspired, supported, and connected to the incredible strength that comes from community.

We are incredibly grateful to each of these women for helping create what promises to be a truly memorable and meaningful experience.

The countdown is on, and we cannot wait to welcome you to Bloom & Belong! Less than 4 hours until start time!

The purpose of our Giving Circles is simple: hear from local charities, cast our votes, and make a collective donation that creates meaningful impact in our community.

But something magical happens every time we gather.

A room full of women who may have arrived as strangers begin sharing stories, laughing together, making introductions, and forming genuine connections. Friendships are built. Support networks are created. Community grows.

While our focus is on giving, what we gain in return is something equally valuable—a sense of belonging and the opportunity to connect with women who care deeply about making a difference.

That’s the beauty of 100 Women Who Care Mississauga.

We’re not just giving to our community. We’re building one. Thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate 5 years!! 💙❤️

With gratitude,

Christine Hull

A look back at the women who helped shape WE BILD Toronto over the past year and a half.

Each speaker brought something different to the room: honesty, expertise, encouragement, and the kind of real-life insight that makes you leave feeling more inspired than when you walked in.

So grateful to every guest who shared their story, lessons learned, and wisdom with this community. ❤️

Special thanks to @1shalinidk for joining our small but mighty #WEBILDToronto group last night!

Shalini shared her journey of building a business, overcoming limiting beliefs around money, and getting intentional about what she wanted her everyday life to look like. That clarity helped shape the path she’s on today.

She also spoke about how often women downplay what they’ve built, referring to their businesses as “just a side gig,” “just something I do for fun,” or “just a passion project,” when in reality they’ve created successful businesses that generate meaningful income and impact.

Shalini’s work is all about around helping people, especially women, recognize their value and shift the way they think and talk about money, business, and success.

Loved the conversations around the table.

Next up: @amydilloninteriors joins us on June 3. Mark your calendars!
