Thank you for the blueprint you’ve given to the world—
from helping shape the rise of Destiny’s Child
to elevating some of the most iconic voices of our generation.

Your legacy is a masterclass in grace, brilliance,
and culture-defining storytelling.

I’m grateful for having been able to hear your story @experienceprocon and for the example you set for young storytellers like me.
Happiest of birthdays to you @yvettenoelschure !!

#ThisIsOurMoment ✨ CBC ALC 54 WEEK ✨ Another one in the books!

I worked a bit this year both at the parties and in the exhibit hall while still managing to sit in on a few conference panels. I always enjoy meeting new people and reconnecting with familiar faces during this annual gathering of Black Excellence.

One of my favorite @congressionalblackcaucus events of the week is always the Amazon @amazonmusic Women’s Empowerment Brunch. This year’s theme, “Still I Rise: In This Together,” truly resonated. Being surrounded by amazing women like Amazon’s @mayorjp, the incredible host venue team led by Dani @goldenlooksproduction @msgoldenlegs
at @12storiesdc , stellar staff members like @_sweetbea_ and bumping into a few of our BGR! colleagues was inspiring to say the least.

I can’t leave out how PRoud I was to see my girl TaJuana’s @1stlady_of_security all-female security company doing their thing and holding it down with such strength and grace. 🙌🏽

And we can’t forget the magnanimous men in the room, like Omar Dorsey (long time no see 😉). The vibes were unmatched DJ @iammissher on the set, plus live music and spoken word from @j_ivy and his powerhouse wife, @tarreytorae , supported by her soaring backup singers and an incredible band. When Tarrey started saaaaanging, she had me in literal tears 😭.

But it wasn’t just the music the women in this room tugged at my heartstrings too. From strangers to familiar faces, so many walked up to me sharing how my work has impacted both business and community. That love, combined with the artistry, is the true origin of my tears.🥹💞

Ending my week with this event reminded me once again… Yes, I was made for this moment. 💫
