Today is NATIONAL CUSTODIAL WORKER’S RECOGNITION DAY. Salute to those under-appreciated people that do the work behind the scenes that MANY would not. Also, I want to shout out to those that recognize and respect these individuals too. I owe much of my success to one custodial worker, in particular, Frank, he is one helluva guy. When I moved from primarily doing event photography, ok call it what it was, roaming around taking pics in clubs, Frank gave me a space to play in. It was an entire floor of an office building in Uptown Toronto. It was only for a few weeks and just on weekends, but it was awesome. I created some of my favourite images to this date there. I regret not doing more while I had space. So, when I see people looking down on others or saying that they only talking to bosses, not the 2nd in command it bothers me. First, it is about respect. Second, you never know who is in a position to help you someday. Have a picture perfect day Beautiful People.
