POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Today marks 5 years of when I chose to surrender and put the booze 🍷down. This image taken the next day deeply reminds me that there a good people in this world. willing to truly help. but I /we as people have to surrender and walk away from the evils of the world that sometimes we have 0 control over.

I feel very blessed to have been guided on that mid October day. Reminded on how good life can be if I simply allowed it.
I begin that journey guided by good friend @erikellington as I entered that unknown path, his knowledge and experiences helped me see the light🙏

Like an angel came from heaven and whispered words of knowledge directly into my brain as we walked those London streets the fall of 2021.

Within the brightest of days Darkness can and will always loom. It was my choice to expel that poison but I had struggled To overpower it, I had allowed to nearly take it all from me.

I became quite the pro at hiding my addictions and alcoholism post my accident in 2018 and for those 3 years it nearly took me away.

I Lived a sober life for 37 years put all my energy into my family and our business. Post my big screw up of chasing something that really didn’t matter my spirit was weakened overtaken by a power I had no control over. The darkness in my head fueled my depression and willingness to drink the poisons.

Today I feel very blessed and thankful to the ones who have helped me with love and guidance thru the toughest of times🙏 @monamabel & others❤️

Though I am no way near perfect now nor will any of us ever be . I try my best everyday and keep my mind open to the ability to allow good over bad.

I can tell you from my experience once you can truly let go of thinking you have control over people places and things life can and will be better if you allow it.

Remember as we enter the winter months and the days get shorter pick up the phone call a loved one, go for a walk with a friend and do your best to be there for the ones who need your help.

“One day at a time”
✌️❤️

It was so nice hanging and talking to Hal thought I would share a lil look into his pride and joys! So cool when you meet someone and hear there stories and make a friend over buying or selling parts! More to see cause Hal has some parts he wants to sell himself ! Might even do a video who knows…
