From as early as I knew I wanted to pursue acting, I've had my sights on formal education. Time, finances, other obligations - and maybe some of my own Imposter Syndrome would have delayed me in this venture sadly. Though I did complete my Bachelor's degree in Theatre, I had hoped at some point to specialise in acting further.

Since moving to the US, I made concerted efforts to refresh and reinvent my skills from exploring various acting classes. I made it to New York twice this year and honestly had such a blast. They've definitely not seen the last of me.

Since looking up schools, AADA @aadaedu has always been high on my list to explore. Though it is still not feasible for me to enroll in longer term education, I was grateful for this 2 week intensive. I learned sooooo so much from my awesome tutors @dshalansky @mauryginsberg @jayliebman @will1564 Timothy D Stickney and met incredible new people from all walks of life. Just taking this time to give gratitude. The things I couldn't fathom being possible, are unfolding before me. I really can't wait to plunge further into my purpose. STAY TUNED!

P.S. Sorry that I'm only now posting this. As soon as I got back from NYC, I jumped right into Footloose which really demanded most of my time. But what a privilege to be consumed by the things you once wished for.

Why limit yourself to one state?

With many of the 88 to 1 crew originally from WA before making the move to Melbourne and Sydney, it only makes sense that we keep creating across the country.

We love coming back west and working with the incredible talent Perth has to offer.

Wow! What an adventure this was!
I had the opportunity to learn from 1st hand Broadway experience! And boy did I learn! This was the first time in a while I genuinely looked forward to classes!
Every professor brought insight I had never even considered to the table! Almost every professor had Broadway experience so it truly was so informative! Every class focused on everything around acting! We weren’t handed a script and told to memorize, we were handed situations and told to feel and enact!
I can’t put into words the amount of knowledge gained from this course!

Classes aside, this program brought about friendships that I will cherish for the rest of my life! From the moment I got there, I was greeted as if we had been friends for years.
I bonded with so many new people from all over the world! It was incredible! It’s only been a week since flying back home to Florida, and I miss everyone so much!

I’m so grateful for everything gained in my short time in New York! So much insight! I can’t wait to see where the performance road will lead me! Onto the next adventure!
